Mountain Hardwear Ventilator Sport Top - Women's

Mountain Hardwear Ventilator Sport Top - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 November 28, 2005

I absolutely love this top. I bought 2 of them (which is 100% more than I ever buy of any piece of clothing, hate duplicates). First of all, they're absolutely the sexiest things I've ever worn climbing. The fabric is very clean and nicely textured. Not too shiny to look at in the sun, and a good solid feel. In addition, the cut is fitted, but loose around the ribs and waist so I feel slender without making fat rolls or feeling like a superhero who's spandex shrank in the wash. Finally, the t-back gives me the most freedom I've felt in a climbing shirt. The strap goes right between the shoulder blades, and the seems underneath them so that I don't feel a thing when I move my arms.

First prAna impression: nice

prAna Lola Sport Top - Women's

prAna Lola Sport Top - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 November 28, 2005

I bought the prAna Lola top the same time I bought the Mountain Hardwear ventilator, and I love them both. Comparing, the Lola has very nice sturdy fabric. I would never worry about it tearing or wearing out, where the ventilator is a little thinner (although still very awesome). The Lola, though, has a little too much fabric around the shoulder blades and lateral muscles, making it a little uncomfortable when climbing. It's every bit as comfortable as any sports bra, and cuter. I love the pinch-front.
