Don't get me wrong, I love this sweater. Though it is a snug fit, I just went up a size from my usual and it's fine. Very warm and great as a layer. It's such a good looking sweater that I tend to wear it casually more than in the mountains... my only true complaint with it is that it does not block wind at all... I know it's not necessarily designed to do that, but seriously, without a jacket or something over it, it does a poor job with wind. I still recommend it though! I love it.

I love my Raven. For general use make sure you get a leash as it does not come with one, but this axe is excellent, especially for the price.

Great glove! I love that the liner is removable; it really helps after long powder days... the gloves dry out much faster. My only complaint is that I wish the wrist had a strap to tighten the glove. Other than that they are excellent.

These are excellent gaiters. Very strong, very waterproof, strong Velcro. My only -slight- complaint is that they don't seem to be very breathable, but then again these are certainly hardcore gaiters and that's not too much of a concern! Great product.

I love this jacket! It's probably the most used piece of clothing I have... great for a layer, by itself, in winter, in spring, in fall, cold summer days in the mountains... this jacket serves so many needs and is built to last. I can't recommend it enough!

I love this pack... very versatile, and it's awesome for ski carrying and avalanche gear. The ice axe loops are great as well. My only complaint is that the hydration system is a little tricky to insert (you have to buy one separately). I use this pack in the summer as well. My favorite thing about this pack is that it is built very, very well - as opposed to several other Dakine products I owned that were built not-so-well. Great product I highly recommend it.

I can't speak for the last reviewer, but I love these skis. I find them to be very responsive, incredibly easy to turn, and excellent over all kinds of terrain. Best pair of skis I've ever owned!

These are very good boots. I didn't buy them from BC because BC only recently started carrying them; I do recommend them though. They definitely require some decent breaking in before they are truly comfortable but once they are broken in they are very nice. Good stiffness and very waterproof. They excel with heavier loads. Not for really cold temps (great 3 season any-terrain boot) but otherwise they are wonderful.

These pants are wonderful. Though not windproof, they are VERY wind resistant - same goes for the water resistance. In addition, they are extremely comfortable and surprisingly warm. My only wish is that the pocket on the right leg was a little large to fit my avy field log, but overall these pants are excellent and I can't recommend them enough.

I love this shirt. Very warm, very breathable, and extremely comfortable. Perfect base layer.

Though I didn't buy it from Backcountry (I know, shame on me), this jacket is awesome- and I had to write a review here because Backcountry's customer service is the best of any retailer out there. The jacket is incredibly strong, has perfect workmanship, is waterproof beyond belief, and is very well cut. I use it mainly for mountaineering, and when wearing a pack and harness it still fits wonderfully, and there is very little ride up when my arms are extended above my head. The fit is great. The stowaway hood is nice but I tend to leave it out because when it is stowed the collar becomes quite thick, and with the layers underneath it can get kind of tight around the neck. Either way I highly recommend this jacket. Also, although it doesn't specify that it's windproof, you would really have to work to convince me it isn't. Excellent product. And buy it here because shame on me for not :)

Like the Craft WS top I also purchased, the fit of the long underpant is excellent; the warmth, however, is not. the pants are not windproof, and quite cold. It's almost as if (along with the shirt) they released an unfinished product or something. If it were actually windproof being so thin and comfortable, it would be an excellent product. In it's current state, it is an absolute wast of time for the money it costs. Kudos to you guys for the excellent customer service and return policy!

While the fit is good, it isn't windproof. Also, there are some really annoying seems in the sleeves. Overall I have to give it a 1.
