Just agreeing with the user above, but it is an athletic fit, so dont expect to get a sweatshirt or more than a few layers under

The Good: No Metal taste, BPA free, keeps water nice and cold, REPPIN BACKCOUNTRY

Mountain Hardwear Synchro Ski Jacket - Men's

Mountain Hardwear Synchro Ski Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 March 9, 2009

Im not sure what the previous reviewer is talking about, because I must have gotten a different jacket than he did. To start out, I was alittle disappointed with backcountry because I found this jacket at a different site a few weeks ago for 148.00 when backcountry.com still had it for 274.00. I asked if they would price match since I always get my gear from BC and they declined, but suprisingly they were able to sell it at a cheaper price! Kinda weak from BC, but whatev. About the jacket: I have worn this jacket in 25 degree weather, which was alittle cool with just a T-shirt under it, to riding my bike in 60 degree weather yesterday, to pouring rain. In warm weather, the pit-zips are sweet and you can open all 4 pockets for additional ventilation. The shell beads water excellently and had no probs in the rain. I am 5'8, around 185, medium athletic build, and the large is a good fit, more atheletic than I'm used to, but thats how it is. The hood is ridic huge when not wearin a helmet, but kept my head dry when it was raining. Good jacket and good deal from BC for the quality.

I got this as a gift for my girlfriend, who is pretty chesty. She normally wears a size medium in t-shirts, etc., so I figured I would get here a large. The size was okay as a mid-layer or running jacket, but as a multi-purpose jacket, she returned it for the extra large to have room to wear something underneath. Other than that, she loves that jacket. It is soft and light weight, and will work fine for a spring/fall windbreaker.

I want to first off say that this review is not for the above product! About a month ago backcountry offered a product similiar to this: 32North Stabilicers. I bought that product for my father becaues he is always outside during the winter and fell three times last year. He loves the stabilicers!! Everytime I see him, he praises them. The product had about 6 screws on the soles, which work great, according to him. I got him the large because he normally is wearing work boots outside(size 10), and wanted to make sure they would fit around them. Im sure the above product would work fine, but he loves the 32north, so keep your eyes open for them on the website.

Just want to clarify that this product adds a layer of protection and does not remove any DWR product that the jacket, pant, etc. currently has? Thanks!
