Great pants

prAna Katek Convertible Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 12, 2009

Prana has a reputation for comfortable synthetic fabrics, and these pants are no disapointment. They are light weight and breathable withou feeling flimsy, with enough room for normal width legs without feeling tight. I wore them for a week in Africa with 100+ degree weather and they were extremely comfortable.

La Sportiva Onix GTX-XCR Hiking Boot - Men's DO NOT USE

December 29, 2008

I tried these on the other day, and they were quite light and comfortable. Are they suitable for a 3 day hike, or are they for day hikes, etc?

Under Armour Boxer Short - Men's

Under Armour Boxer Short - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 August 30, 2008

I bought a pair of the boxer jock for running, and now have converted to them entirely for sports/running. I picked these up for slower moving activities with a bit more freedom. They are really comfortable on hot days and long hikes. They wick moisture away fantastically, and dry really quickly from a swim or your kid spilling water all over you. I just got a bunch more.

Super comfortable

Inov 8 Roclite 285 Trail Running Shoe - Men's

Inov 8 Roclite 285 Trail Running Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 August 30, 2008

These are very light and comfortable, they don't have hard soles like cleats but are more like wrestling shoes with a pliant sole and a great amount of traction. They are good for running, but the flexible sole makes them difficult for rocky terrain and I wouldn't substitute them for lightweight boots as some lightweight hikers are trying to do.
