Black Diamond ATC-Sport Belay Device

Black Diamond ATC-Sport Belay Device

Rating for this product: 3 March 2, 2009

Alright, this ATC is very light weight but not the best choice for multi pitch or even more intense climbs. However, this ATC does work and is a great choice for someone that does not need to spend the extra money on the HP or will not be needing an ATC for twin rope belays. For gym use this ATC is awesome.

Mountain Hardwear Monkey Man Fleece Zip T - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Mountain Hardwear Monkey Man Fleece Zip T - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 March 2, 2009

I have the blue/purple monkey man. i used it as a mid layer while riding at park city and the canyons. also use it many times while backpacking on the AT and on the MST in western NC. this is so light and warm it is always the first thing i put in my pack no matter what time of year i decide to hit the trail. O and just so you know you might just find random girls coming up to pet your monkey phur.

K2 Turbo Dream Snowboard

November 20, 2008

Nothing. It's an all mountain board, so it'll handle park just fine. However, there are boards made exclusively for park riding, so check those out if that's where you spend all your time.if you are looking for an all mountain board but rides better in the park then the turbo dream then go with the jib pan. It was two more torsion forks and i believe it has harsh mellow aswell. same price but better ride in the park. More snap on hard pack turns and more pop then the turbo dream.

zero

K2 Zero Snowboard

K2 Zero Snowboard

Rating for this product: 4 November 18, 2008

if you are looking for an eco friendly board go with the Arbor wasteland or any arbor for that matter. If you are looking for one of the lightest boards out there with the smoothest ride and new add-ons like harsh mellow then the zero is your board. Compare it to other light weight boards (burton vapor) and you will see that this is the best board for the buck. Hook it up with the new Auto bindings and you have a fully harsh mellowed out board. just make sure that you but the 09 auto bindings because there was a recall on last years.

(whew that was a good one) I have had this tent for about six months I have taken it on three extended backpacking trips two down in Western NC on the MST and another one on the MD AT. I really enjoy this tent I love the two doors and have never had a problem with water leaking in. My two complaints are this. It is very hot during the summer. My last trip we were using 20 degree bags and it was about 40 outside. we slept the whole night with the fly open just to keep from burning up. The second problem is the weight. I am used to carrying around 40lbs so its not a big problem for me but lighter would defiantly be better. I do like the tent and im glad that i looked at SAC when i did.

I used this pack on a week long sea kayaking trip. On the second day it got real choppy and the compartments became full of water lucky for me this great design paid off and my bag stayed dry. Thanks Sea to Summit!

CamelBak Better Bottle w/ Classic Cap - 1L

CamelBak Better Bottle w/ Classic Cap - 1L

Rating for this product: 2 October 29, 2008

Yes it is BPA free but so are most naleges. Basically it is the same price but gives you 250ml less!!! Maybe im weird or something but when im on long backpacking trips I like to hold as much water as possible. You can never count on that next blue line actually being there. I know that from experience.

K2 Turbo Dream Snowboard

October 28, 2008

Yuppers cjhaan. your boot will be to large for this board, you will need a wide board specifically for a boot size 12 .... Ya DiggggDude you should be fine i set up a turbo dream today with some xl formulas and burton Mottos is a 12 if the angles are at 15 with toes pointing away from each other you should be fine. I wear a twelve and have never had to ride a wide board.

K2 Formula Snowboard Binding

K2 Formula Snowboard Binding

Rating for this product: 5 October 28, 2008

straight stupid! these bindings can be compared to the Burton missions in flex and response but have allot more padding for the feet. they have a heal dampener and a toe strap that doubles as a cap strap and an old school over the toe. in the end very responsive, very comfortable, very sweet
