Very nice, but...

Giro G10 Audio Helmet

Giro G10 Audio Helmet

Rating for this product: 4 February 23, 2007

The L is too small and the XL is too big. The G10 is about a half size bigger than the fuse or 9. I wish it fit, because it's probably the lowest profile/sleekest of the Giro line. Tune ups II works very well. I like it better than the wireless audio because it 's much less bulky.

light, good features, but.....

Giro Fuse Helmet

Giro Fuse Helmet

Rating for this product: 4 February 15, 2007

I like this helmet a lot, but have two complaints; One is that Giro needs to have a more consistent sizing system. I'm a M in the Omen, XL in the Fuse and 9 and L in the G10. Thus making it hard to order their helmets online without going to a store first and trying each model, or ordering a bunch and sending them back.
And second, the helmet is huge. I feel like a have a giant mushroom on my head. If you want a helmet to look cool, you may want to look elsewhere.

Hold an edge on hardpack/ice

Atomic Big Daddy Alpine Ski

Atomic Big Daddy Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 5 February 15, 2007

I've found all the previous reviews to be pretty accurate. I read them all B4 I got the ski, cuz there's nowhere to demo them out here. So I ski Alta/Bird and It hasn't snowed much in the last month since I got the skis. I took'em on a few test runs on crud and hardpack and was surprised how well they held an edge on the hard stuff.
I switched Salomon B130 for B115 brakes, cuz the B15 (which were recommended) were annoying in the way the stuck out after you bent them to fit the ski.

Works great, less hassle than the bluetooth wireless setup

Giro Tune-Ups II and Cellular Link

Giro Tune-Ups II and Cellular Link

Rating for this product: 5 February 15, 2007

I got the tune ups 2 and bluetooth kit to compare. The pic of the bluetooth on backcounry makes the kit a lot sleeker looking than it really is. Once you get the things on your head they're bulky and ridiculous looking. Plus you have to keep the battery charged.
The tune ups 2 kit works great. People can hear me clearly on my cell phone. The music sounds fine and the overall appearance is much better than the much more expensive wireless setup.

This things is awesome. I have more expensive fleeces, but I always find myself wearing this one. Better fit, feel and warmth than most. For the price, it was the best deal I've gotten from you guys.
