great for powder days, stays warm when wet which is rare unless I take a few diggers going off of cliffs or on the snorkel days of deep snow. It is simply the one jacket for it all. Works great in the high winds as well and combined with a shell such as the AR or SV it is true synergy as in heaven. This company did their homework and did not skimp on anything. Anyone who questions the cost of these garments should eat at home for a week as I would eat ramen for a month to own this companies garments.

This jacket goes with me everywhere. On 40 mile mountain bike rides, skiing in the backcountry, hiking and fits into a small pack of fanny pack and I know it would save my life. incredible how light and perfect this garment is. Can almost not feet it when it is on as it weighs nothing. I would recommend it to anyone. Arcteryx is simply THE BEST

Incredible. There is no substitute for this jacket. None exists. Made in Canada by people who love to ski, are paid living wages and not a profit center for some greedy fat cats using sweatshop labor in China. For our society to survive we have to start giving our money to companies that provide jobs at home. This means never shopping at "Great" Wal Mart as everything there is made in China.

This jacket is the best. Be stoked in knowing you paid for someones kid to live in a decent home in Canada. Arcteryx have the best customer service in the business, better than Yvonne himself at Patagonia as they come a close second, however use sweat shop labor. Vote with your dollars. I did and I am stoked.

Incredible and the best soft shell ever. Very versitile and a great liner for my AR jacket. Very comfy and stays warm all the time. The hood ROCKS.

These are the best pants I have ever owned. ARCTERYX knows their trade. A great value even at a grand. After having owned these pants for two years I would pay over a grand for a pair like this. They handle it all. Incredible value. Some may make fun of the potato chip bag sound they make, but they are truly missing out on this piece of incredible clothing item. I am so stoked and now have four of their jackets, two pair of their pants, their wool long underwear and two packs. Their stuff is bulletproof and bomber proof. Simply the best company I have seen working in the ski business for the last 28 years. I have seen it all and this is the best gear for the money. I cannot stress enough what good quality means when you are stuck in the outback at dark being forced to sleep in a treewell for the night or dig out a snow shelter. As they say about Porsche Cars, There is no substitute.

This is by far one of the best, if not the best jacket I have ever owned. It is bomber proof, is packable enough to carry with me in a small pack and does it all. From rain storms riding on a motorcycle at 100 mph to the worst bllizzards on planet earth. I stay dry, the jacket is like a john deere tractor in that it never breaks down. Arcteryx know this stuff and since I bought this jacket I have upgraded all of my gear to this brand. their pants are bomber as well and have put up with some of the worst treatment ever just as has my AR .

If you skimp on the few extra dollars for this kind of quality, then surely you will pay twice in the long run. This is a jacket that will last me twenty years. Arcteryx customer service in BC is the best company I have ever talked to about their garments. they back up their stuff 110%.
