Yeah no prob with the a-frames, might get a cold spot where your strap goes over your helmet though, but a skull cap could always fix that.

Head Skis USA Thorac Unit
May 18, 2009
Hey skybabe, the large seems to be an equal to a lrg mens shirt or jacket. From what the Head site can tell us. All I can say is that when I see one of these gnarly back protectors' You better be gettin heli dropped or something along those lines. The only time I think I have ever seen anyone where one of these is when I was track riding my 1125R Buell at Pocono Raceway. I think you should have more confidence in kickin' it down hill, and not so much worrying about what might happen. But you can never be to careful. Wax side always down except for inverts!!!

Vasque Ranger GTX Hiking Boot - Men's
May 10, 2009
I am pretty sure most hiking boots will have a tendency to pick up small rocks on any trail. But they might fall out just as quick as they get picked up. You might also be able to feel through the sole of the shoe where you got a rock stuck. But I would say if your using them as an everyday shoe, no problem- But if your going to do a high peak or a 14 mile day trip- take them off before you cross into the hardwood area.

Ocean, not so much- you might get tossed around a bit, plus your going to need a skirt. This bad boy is a 10 footer. It will be great for the lake and streams. Has a nice keep dry storage area behind your seat, plus all the bungee's you need- some other yaks' you have to pay for those little things. So for your trips- an awesome choice until you want to go faster. But maybe you will get used to this one, and not need the speed. All around good choice!! And it's on-sale

Well Dan, Any wind is tough in a tent, but as long as you stake this puppy it ain't movin' looks like over 10 stakes? With all your bags inside that is good weight. Cold- tent's are just to keep you dry-not so much the cold. Your bag is what is you need. Bag rated for cold temps- your good to go. From the reviews this thing is like a bus.

Arbor A-Frame Snowboard
May 7, 2009
I agree with Kev, don't sacrifice an Arbor board for a split. Look into your convo. kit for a split to see if they have a suggestion. If your first tracking, you got to get skins, plus a big pow board should do you no harm on the descent.

With the waist belt, you should be able to distribute the weight to your hips. So I thought that the trailblazer had a hip strap also? Maybe try moving your shoulder straps up, and tighten up the belt strap to sit above your hips a little, not so much dead center.

Freestyle USA Mega Tide Watch - Men's
May 5, 2009
Yo Jason, Looking at freestyle's pdf. Set up time in your zone, then the date. Make sure it isn't setup for a leap year. The watch claims that it has tide data for 145 beaches worldwide. So if your beach is on there you should be good. Also that S3 button is a factor when setting up. Make sure your in feet not meters- 1 through 10 tides rising, 11 through 20 falling. I think that if you set in on big time that throws in animation with the shark fin, set in normal I would say. Your beach charts may be slightly different because of better data, but your watch should be close or on the money with them. The tide button shoots you an idea on when the high or low tides are coming in the future. Remember the moon stages happen every 5-6 weeks, this will impact your dates so if the dates are set right everything should be lined up

Thule Speedway Bike Mount
May 4, 2009
Most Thule hatch racks strap on to the frames of the door. So if you got a little room at the top of the door, and you can see weatherstripping, You could prob fit a hook strap in there. Your spoiler, if you can get your hand under it, you might be able to fit it. This might flex your spoiler a bit though.

Voile Telepack Shovel
May 4, 2009
This shovel says it will shrink down to 24in. The blade is 15in. wide, so I would say sure, but that cramps up some room for anything else. You could strap it to the outside maybe. Those holes in bottom of the shovel, could use those for strapping.

Columbia Cypress Brook Jacket - Boys'
May 3, 2009
Pretty sure neither. By the look of the pic, the white mesh resembles the hood so it looks like it just folds down. It may have a velcro strap on the hood for a quick roll up, but most Columbia jackets have that sweet hood stash pocket- not seeing it here.

Yakima Horizontal Mighty Mount - Set of 4
May 3, 2009
Hey Julie, according to Yaks fit guide you could roll with a couple of set ups. This set of 4 will def. work with fac. rack, but Yakima is saying that your ski rack should not need extra accessories . Just need to double check with what style rack you have for your skis to see if they match up. This setup seems to be a single bolt thru the clip. The Fat Cats and Powderhounds should have the setup on it already.

May 3, 2009
Yup, these gloves are it. Breath excellent, cuz your gripping handle bars instead of poles. Use of the thumbs will be great for your turn signals, and taking these puppies off is a breeze if you have to dig for something in your pockets. And super gauntlet style so you don't have try tucking your sleeves in. I would get these bad boys in a second especially because they are on-sale

Nixon 42-20 PU Tide Watch - Men's
April 30, 2009
Nixon has no info on band length, so my guess would be about maybe 6 1/2 to 7. The band is poly so if you wanted to you could customize it to your wrist if it doesn't go small enough, poking a hole in a plastic band isn't that horrible, but shelling out 270 coin for a watch that doesn't fit is. If you dig this watch, you might be able to get a different band(velcro)from Nixon Repair On-Line.

Yo Mike, as far as I can tell, If the strap going on has the long pin on it should have no problems. Just pull straight out on the end where the strap swings. Don't twist from side to side- you'll snap that pin off in the hole. You can get it out though if that happens, just pull the foam back at the sides and use a pencil or pen and pop it out,

Oakley A Frame Goggle
January 15, 2009
Hey Ronzoni, The A frames are a great google. Hopefully the foam on the sides fills in that gap for your arms. The Wisdoms are your next best bet. Oakley goggles are primo for the slopes. Anon Ops are great too. My only problem is if you yard sale(even the best of us crash) I hope you can get your glasses back. Then you most likely will have a little fog problem for a bit. So yes, you should have no problems with that. Next option would be contacts.

Always go bigger. If her feet are not quite tight in those boots, the extra cushion from the smartwool will help. These socks compress really well too.
