Good casual shirt

Icebreaker SuperFine150 Detour Polo Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Men's

Icebreaker SuperFine150 Detour Polo Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 October 20, 2009

Not sure what you guys are complaining about... you can clearly see the edges are raw and unsymmetric attributes of the shirt from the pictures. It is done on purpose. I got one in jungle (green) and another in bark (brown). Sizing was consistent for those two shirts. It fits slightly loose on me and feels pretty good. Well ok, one of the shirt is slightly itchier than the other and has some piling (maybe tried on and returned?), but not too bad. Shirt looks better in person. I like it.

Nalgene SS BPA-Free Bottle - 38oz

May 18, 2009

yeah, don't think the no-dent thing will stand...

I ordered a backpacker version and it came with multiple dents and the shipping box did not have anything that indicated the box was mishandle. Returned it and order another backpacker and same thing... a dent on the bottle without any apparent trauma to the box. Got it third one on order and hope it doesn't come with a dent.

Have the standard version and it came without a dent. However, poured left over coke from those 2L bottles in and screw the cap with o ring to prevent CO2 lost... went to get it later from the fridge and the coke's CO2 pressure was enough to pop the originally concave bottom out... you can press on the bottom to pop it back, but still, don't think anything that'll pop that easily can be very dent-proof.

Brunton MY-Ti Spork

May 7, 2009

I think the bottle opener is more like a built-in carabiner type of deal like the following pic... did they took the feature out for maybe a stronger overall handle?

If I had longer arms... and it's actually blue...

Backcountry.com Merino Crew Shirt - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Backcountry.com Merino Crew Shirt - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 April 8, 2009

I'm kinda short at 5"5' with an athletic build. Usually a regular size S cotton T fits me just fine. This wool shirt fits me fine in the chest/armpit area but the sleeves are just too long... The Tahoe color is really more of a darker teal/turquoise color than blue. Not really feeling that color. Material is nice though.

Nice vest

Mountain Hardwear Windstopper Tech Vest - Men's

Mountain Hardwear Windstopper Tech Vest - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 4, 2009

Bike in the mid 40s with just a regular long sleeved shirt and this vest on (and glove) and felt comfortable.

Usually size small from pretty much every brand fits me just slightly big. I go through reviews sometimes just to see if someone mentioned the item fits small, and if there's comment like that, the item usually fits me fine, which is the case with this one. So it might fit small/short for you if a small sized item usually fits you fine.

The slim technical fit with the collar folded down makes the vest seems a bit girlie though... and the black microfleece trap/show dust like crazy, but the dust compensate for the slightly girlie look a bit... not that I'm insecure about my own masculinity or anything... really.

Nice...

Backcountry.com Shift Welder Hoody - Men's

Backcountry.com Shift Welder Hoody - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 19, 2009

Nice stretchy fabric with enough space for a fleece base layer. Took it skiing at Whistler and it keep me nice and warm with a base layer. It is very fitted especially at the bottom end. I got a bit self conscious about the the jacket accentuating my butt like a speedo and switched to my hardshell the day after. Also bike commute with it in moderate rain and it kept me dry. The carbon color is slightly lighter than the pictures under regular yellow house light and the jacket has a green hue under white flourescent light or in the sun.

Metal makes this bottle pretty durable (it fell off my pack once when I was biking at around 20mph and survived ok)... but drinking water out of the bottle taste like metal... eck.
