Can't beat salomons

I had XA Pro's before and they lasted 3 years of abuse until they pretty much disintegrated and my only complaint with those was that they did not have enough cushioning for the 1/4 - 1 mile run on the road to the different trails in my area. The wings XT have solved that for me, they are still very stable off the pavement and on the road they don't make my knees scream. The only thing to be careful of is that Salomon I have found run very true to size and the old XA's were 11.5 and fit perfectly, but these seem to be a little bit more narrow through the forefoot so I got a 12 and they still fit but just not as well as the old pair. Saying that I have gotten no blisters or soreness taking them right out the box and going for a 10 mile run/hike. Great shoes, you won't be disappointed with Salomon
