Hestra Heli 3-Finger Glove

If concern about these gloves becoming wet is causing anyone to lose sleep, then check out Hestra's Gore-Tex version which is called the "Trigger Gore-Tex XCR Shell Glove". It comes in black, has the same 3-finger design and it's been used with great success in the Southern Ocean portions of the Volvo Around-The-World Races.

All I really wanted was the strap retainer to replace one which had died on my out-of-production Suunto M9. The M9 had recently accompanied me on a trans-Atlantic circuit performing flawlessly over the entire voyage. The extension strap's retainer was a perfect match so I'm a very happy camper! And, oh yeah, the extension strap actually works for its intended purpose if you want to use it as such and provides quite a bit of extension.
