Arc'teryx Sigma SV Jacket - Men's

Arc'teryx Sigma SV Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 12, 2007

Well, what can I say about this jacket? Definitely nothing negative! This piece performs as well as all Arcteryx equipment I own! The material is very abrasion resistant, windproof and water repellent. Although it is not waterproof it sheds out rain and wet snow for a couple of hours skiing and trekking. The cut is next to perfect and the production quality is on the top as usual! For a quite high price you can expect a wonderful top of the range softshell jacket! It is worth every dollar!

Patagonia R2 Fleece Jacket - Men's

Patagonia R2 Fleece Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 12, 2007

You need a good piece of fleece to wear under a shell? Then this one is your choice! This fleece jacket offers a perfect weight to performance ratio which keeps you really warm when worn under a shell. Unfortunately it is not windproof, but somehow that is made up for by a very high breathability which might be preferred especially when skiing or hiking with a waterproof jacket. The touch of this fleece is very cool, it feels just like a sheep!

Arc'teryx Logo Long-Sleeve T-Shirt - Men's

Rating for this product: 1 September 13, 2006

Not much to say! A well fitted long sleeved shirt in a good quality. Very nice that it's made in USA, not in the Far East.

Superb!

Patagonia R1 Granular Jacket - Men's

Patagonia R1 Granular Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 1 September 13, 2006

Hey folks, this is a great jacket! With that fit there will be no bulk in your way! A high quality, very well made and warm jacket. It's perfect as layer under a shell as insulation, but in addition wearable just by itself, because it's almost completely windproof. An all-round jacket for everyday use on the cold days. It's very nice that the jacket is made in USA and not somewhere in the Far East which underlines the very good quality!

Arc'teryx Minuteman Bib - Men's

Arc'teryx Minuteman Bib - Men's

Rating for this product: 1 September 13, 2006

With this bib you will be on the right side when it comes to harsh, cold and wet to very wet weather! The fit is excellent just as it's fantastically well made! That's Arc'teryx as usual! I use it mainly for telemarking and enjoy its material and cut, because it's first class! You won't find a thing that you don't like about these pants!

Not much to say

Arc'teryx Sigma AR Jacket - Men's

Arc'teryx Sigma AR Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 1 September 13, 2006

I like Arc'teryx in general, but I always try to stay objective. And again I have to give 5 stars to a perfectly made softshell jacket. Gore Windstopper is not new, but manufactured in such a great way that's not usual. The jacket keeps you warm and can be used as layer under a shell when the weather will become wet. for really cold days you should wear another fleece under the jacket, because it's not that thick. Still, it's great to wear on the windy autumn days just like that.

The Alternative

Patagonia Stretch Element Jacket - Men's

Patagonia Stretch Element Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 2 October 28, 2005

Although I'm a big Arc’teryx fans, I find that this jacket is a great alternative. The stretch material and the perfect cut make it more than just comfortable. The weight is almost negligible and the new seam technology is worth a closer look. The only minus is that the hood is not as perfectly adjustable as an Arc’teryx one, although it will fit over a helmet very well. Without a helmet it seems to be a little too big in spite of many adjust options. All in all it’s a very nice piece of equipment for a good and safe feeling in the outdoors.

Arc'teryx Covert Hoody Jacket - Men's

Arc'teryx Covert Hoody Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 September 29, 2005

Well, as an Arcteryx fan in general, I probably don't have an objective view of this gear. But again I can tell everybody that this piece is just great with a perfect and very comfortable fitting! Use it as an every day and soon your favorite hoody! There's no more to say than Arcteryx gear is worth every cent (and there are a lot of them), so buy it and be happy a very long time!!!

Oakley Hybrid S M Frame Replacement Lenses

Oakley Hybrid S M Frame Replacement Lenses

Rating for this product: 5 September 29, 2005

Great replacement lens for biking through the woods or on the roads on overcast days. It provides perfect protection against all the flying bits and pieces including huge bees and other insects that are trying to get into the corner of your eye. And you're getting enough vista on the ride!

Patagonia Capilene Expedition Weight Fleece Bottoms - Men's

Patagonia Capilene Expedition Weight Fleece Bottoms - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 September 29, 2005

... especially when you have the right underwear. On a very cold day (below 0F) I only have to wear these comfy bottoms under 3-layer Gore Tex XCR pants without extra insulation. Even while standing around or sitting in a long chair ride you'll stay warm forever (could be fatal at après-ski)!
