To be honest I don't think these do at all. If you want a bag that will zip together well a mummy style probably won't be the most comfortable. Go with more of a rectangular style bag. These are definitely solid bags either way though!

Mountain Hardwear Light Wedge 2 Classic Tent 2-Person 3-Season

Neither. You need to buy the footprint separately...which is completely worth it, I think its about $30. As for a loft, it doesnt come with one, but this tent has allot of pockets to where you probably dont need one. If ya still want one though, I think they sell one separately.

Osprey Packs Variant 52 Backpack - 3000-3400cu in
6 days ago
Personaly...I'd go with the Variant. I've had experience with both Osprey and Deuter and so far Osprey has been my go to for packs...period! As far as compressing down to a daypack size, both will probably do about the same. The Varient is a pretty specific type pack though, more of a climbing/alpine pack so keep that in mind.

Yes. Now I say that based on the bear canisters that I have seen and used(which come in different sizes). But yeah, as long as its not one of the crazy big ones for a group it'll fit no problem.

New Balance MT00 Minimus Trail Running Shoe - Men's

Never used these trail runners specificly but I've always used trail runners (Salomon, montrail, etc) for backpacking/hiking. They work great and you feel much lighter on your feet obviously. I highly recommend a trail runner for backpacking.

MontBell Super Spiral Hugger #1 Sleeping Bag: 15 Degree Down
April 27, 2012
MontBell tends to have bags with a bit of a stretch to them...I can't say the same for stoic except that they are a solid brand. Its a mummy style bag either way so its not gonna be crazy roomy. You should be fine with either one, just pick which ever temp ya need and go with that one.

La Sportiva Glacier Mountaineering Boot - Men's
April 27, 2012
Get the same size then. Unless you are wearing wool socks(which I'd actually recommend highly), then they should be pretty true to fit. Plus if they are the wrong size, just exchange them, free of charge.

The North Face Greenland Down Jacket - Women's
April 27, 2012
If I were you, I'd definitely go with something warmer and more wind resistant for temps that cold. I recommend the Peak Performance BL down jacket or the Marmot Ama Dablam jacket. An even better option would be a parka style jacket. If you really like this one, just make sure you buy a heavy wieght fleece or softshell for a midlayer.

Scarpa Triolet Pro GTX Mountaineering Boot - Men's
April 27, 2012
That depends...are you prone to cold feet? If so, go with a double boot, they will be heavier but will also be warmer, and you can change out the inner boot to what meets your needs. If you aren't, then these should do just fine! I personally am bias towards La Sportiva's, but Scarpa is a solid brand as well.

Salomon Wings Sky GTX Hiking Boot - Men's
April 23, 2012
If you like a sturdy boot for extended backpacking, this is probably the best youll get. The nice thing about salomon is that even when it comes to their boots, they are light!! Now as far as high altitude, if you are looking for warmth...these won't have much. Really depends on the type of temps you are going to be in. Definitely a solid boot though!

Mountain Hardwear EV 2 Tent 2-Person 4-Season

La Sportiva Spantik Mountaineering Boot - Men's
April 22, 2012
Personally, I'd recommend the Spantik's...they are somewhat newer and seem to have better ratings overall. I also just happen to REALLY like La Sportiva as a brand, and thats from personal first hand use.
As far as attaching gaiters...they should attach the same way, you may just want to order them a size bigger.

Columbia Raintech Jacket - Men's
March 7, 2012
Well, attatching another jacket means that the shell has an extra set of zippers on the inside along with some clips in the sleeves and usually behind the neck so that you are able to zip an insulating layer(fleece) into the shell. As far as sizing goes, I've had a couple columbia brand jackets and they are pretty true to size. Im 6ft 180lbs and the Medium fits me. As far as waterproofing goes...I've always been a strong believer in GORE-TEX...but, if you don't have the budget for it, thats ok, I just havn't found anything that quite compares to GORE-TEX yet though when it comes to waterproofing. But if you are just gonna be out in some rain and snow without rubbing wet gear, rocks, and packs all over it you should be just fine with this. Hope that all answers your questions!

Mountain Hardwear BMG 105 Backpack - 6400cu in
March 3, 2012
Mountain hardwear does not have a "scooped section like that. The only packs that I've used that have an intentional section like that for being able to look up while wearing a helmet would be Osprey packs. And if you are gonna go with a pack this large(6400cu in), Id go with Osprey(or Gregory) anyways because they seem to have better packs when it comes to large capacity. Mountain hardwear is better with mid sized to small technical packs. Hope that answers your question.

Arc'teryx Atom SV Insulated Hoody - Men's
March 3, 2012
It may work...but if I were you I'd go with a jacket that just insulates period, like a mountain hardwear parka or north face nuptse. These jackets will do a better job as far as insulating goes. This way, youll have: Baselayer, windjacket/fleece, softshell, shell, and then if needed, heavy insulator.

Hestra Heli Mitten
March 3, 2012
Ive used both mittens, and to be honest, Ill never go with anything but Black Diamond when it comes to mittens. The most recent time that I used mine was in Colorado snowboarding, actual temp on the mountain was 3 degrees with a wind chill of -15 degrees, I wore the mercury mittens solo and had no problem with keeping my hands warm. If you don't think these would be warm enough, go with Black Diamond's absolute mitten...theres no way you'll have cold hands with these ever, they are expedition wieght mittens.

The North Face Venture Jacket - Women's
March 3, 2012
Well, the nice thing about the venture is that it has pit zips...when its raining and sticky out, these are AMAZING!! If money is an issue though, id say go with the resolve, the pit zips are really the only difference between these two, and the resolve is 15% off right now. And as far as size goes...if the Medium fits, itll fit with either jacket, so go with a Medium.

Hi Paul, these boots actually are NOT waterproof at all. If you are looking for a waterproof boot I would go with one that has GORE-TEX lining...this type of boot will have 100% waterproofness...whereas this boot here does not, although it will be extremely breathable.

It should be in the Adidas specs for how the jackets fit. It look like they have Chest at: 36.7-37.8...Waist at: 31.9-33.1...and Hip at: 37.4-38.6. Other than that you may have to go to Adidas website to get more specs.
