Mountain Hardwear Cohesion Stretch Pant - Women's

February 17, 2012

I'm looking for a pair of pants that I can wear on my bike rides in the rain...is there a way to cinch the hem of the leg so I don't get caught up in the chain?

I would wear this everyday...

Ibex Woolies Zip T-Neck Top - Women's

Ibex Woolies Zip T-Neck Top - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 February 17, 2012

If I could get away with it...It's so light and comfy it seems crazy that it keeps me as warm as it does. It is the perfect length in the torso and also the sleeves -- long enough to keep the chill out, but not so long it starts bunching up.
After wearing it a few days, you can hardly tell it's stretched out at all...
I've worn it on a couple hikes and it was perfect over a tank in the February chill of the NW. Coupled with my Marmot Flair Fleece, I needed nothing else at the top.
Buy it, you will love it.

Awesome

Ibex Nomad Full-Zip Hoodie - Men's

Ibex Nomad Full-Zip Hoodie - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 18, 2012

I bought this for my beau and honestly he never takes the thing off. He says it's a perfect layer for when he's skiing and boarding because it's not bulky, and doesn't make him overheat. The hood fits his head instead of flopping around. He's a pretty normal "medium" sized guy and the medium fit him perfectly. He normally has problems with sleeve length, but these sleeves don't fall short! The thumbholes are particularly nice for when he needs to wear gloves. Also, the merino is SO soft -- it's like that brand new sweatshirt feel without the weight. I almost want to get one for myself, now!

Pretty and practical

Marmot Flair Hooded Fleece Jacket - Women's

Marmot Flair Hooded Fleece Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 January 18, 2012

I really like this fleece -- I was looking for something that would keep me warm at work and on my way to work, but would also appear to be a little more than just a standard fleece. Fancy and warm.
Just one thing on the size -- I pretty much always wear a small. I'm petite at 5' 2''. While the jacket fits well around the torso, the sleeves are *just* barely long enough when my arms are down. If I'm moving around the sleeves creep up, exposing an inch or so of my wrist (which sucks when it's cold!) But I do like how roomy the hood is...I can wear a ponytail and the hood still fits over it.
Also, make sure you keep a lint roller handy -- the fabric likes to collect things. Maybe since I have the black one it's more noticeable. But it washes up really nicely.
