Love this watch

Suunto Core Altimeter Watch

Suunto Core Altimeter Watch

Rating for this product: 5 February 23, 2012

I recently purchased this in the military black version. So far I have no complaints the set up is very easy to do and the features are awesome. Alarm is loud but not too loud and I love being able to have the compass altimeter and storm warning. I thought it would be more bulky but it's a nice size for me although I do have a bigger build at 6'5". I was concerned about not having a sapphire crystal but so far the crystal has been great. All in all it's a very styling functional watch that I think can be worn anywhere. thinking I'll add a leather band to dress it up at some point.

Super nice lite jacket

Arc'teryx Gamma MX Softshell Jacket - Men's

Arc'teryx Gamma MX Softshell Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 23, 2012

This is my first experience with Arc'teryx products I have always heard good things but had never tried their products. I must say this light jacket lives up to their reputation very well built nice weight and a nice color selection. I went with the blue and at 6'5" the xxl gave me some room to have a mid layer as well certainly the best technical jacket I own yet still looks great around town. I will be trying more items from Arc'teryx in the future.

Great Base

Stoic Merino 150 Crew - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Stoic Merino 150 Crew - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 29, 2011

My backcountry merino was finally wearing out so I was happy to find a replacement in this base layer. I like the fit and feel of the liter merino, I don't get as hot as quickly and love the thumbholes. The sleeves are long on these, which I like, at 6' 5" I was able to use an XL with sleeve lenght to spare.

Patagonia R1 Fleece Pant - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 December 29, 2011

Got these for my wife for christmas and so far they have been the warmest base layer she has ever owned. She likes them so much we have purchased two more. Nice and heavy, smooth material, with great breathability. For anyone who runs a bit cold I would highly reccomend them.

Great Beanie

Stoic Inverse Beanie - Men's

Stoic Inverse Beanie - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 December 29, 2011

As alwasy stoic seems to make a great product. Great comfort with the merino wool andn love the color choices. I would agree though, that this beanie runs large with a bigger cut to it, I usually have a hard time finding beanies that fit comfortably as I have a larger hat size but this fit perfect.

Nice lite gloves

Coal Connors Fingerless Glove

Coal Connors Fingerless Glove

Rating for this product: 4 December 29, 2011

These gloves were exactly what I was expecting, a nice lite pair of fingerless gloves. I like that they are less heavy and itchy than wool yet still keep your hands as warm as you would expect them to. Ideal for spring or early fall alone and a good base for any heavier full glove if needed

Stoked for Stoic

Stoic Merino Comp 230 Anorak - Men's

Stoic Merino Comp 230 Anorak - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 29, 2011

This is an awesome mid layer. I love its warmth and comfort and the fit true to size, I'm 6-5 and an xl fits perfectly. The slimmer fit is ideal for layering, much less bluky than a hoodie. This will be an all around season user for me, with a base merino layer I can wear it untill the high 20s and by itself w just a T-shirt pretty much any time. I would reccomend this to anyone who is looking for a great mid layer.
