Stoic Welder Hi Softshell Jacket - Men's

Stoic Welder Hi Softshell Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 December 22, 2011

This jacket is pretty much everything I was looking for. Super soft fleece on the inside, flexible shell on the outside. I don't quite understand why they choose to weld the seams instead of tape them. It seems like everyone else has taped seams. But with a lifetime warrenty why question it?

I have yet to fully test the jacket. As of now I've just been wearing it around town but it's the most stylish softshell/fleece I've ever had. Only thing I wish it had were wrist gaiters. Other than that, with this thing on sale, you can't really go wrong. Although when I first got it I kind of said to myself, I paid 200 bucks for this? but slowly it keeps proving me wrong.

Great jacket.

Not worth 180 dollars

Patagonia Guide Hooded Softshell Jacket - Men's

Patagonia Guide Hooded Softshell Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 2 December 8, 2011

It's a really comfortable fall/spring jacket. But honestly for the price, not worth it what-so-ever. You can get TNF jackets cheaper than this that are warmer and have higher water/wind proofing ratings. It's not very thick, wind definitely cuts through it, and it just is no where near being worth 180 dollars. So if price is not an issue, then go for it, it's comfy and looks great. But otherwise, search elsewhere.

Stoic Welder Hi Softshell Jacket - Men's

So am I to understand this is not a wind proof jacket? Also, how would this compare to TNF apex summit jacket? I've tried the Apex Summit in person and it seemed to be a pretty solid jacket, but this has a bit more style, and a hood.
