CW-X Stabilyx 3/4 Tight - Women's

December 8, 2011

Has anyone tried these as a baselayer for skiing or snowboarding? I'm not too sure what the differences are between these ones (recommended for running) or the "CW-X Insulator Stabilyx 3/4-Tights" which could be used as a baselayer. Would love input, thanks!

It's not merino, but it's ridiculously soft. Great for boarding and to walk around in.

Dragon APX Goggle - Polarized

Dragon APX Goggle - Polarized

Rating for this product: 5 December 7, 2011

The peripheral vision is amazing on this, which was an important factor for me when I was choosing goggles. Though the lenses are huge, it fits just right around the face. The quality is excellent, in addition, the Dragon logo on the straps is metallic rather than rubber (which looks classier IMO). Though it's polarized, it's not AS dark as some of the ionized ones I've tried on, so I could see myself using these for more than just bluebird days. Personally love the look of these on, but that's just me! :)

Warm and Comfortable

SmartWool PhD Medium Snowboard Sock

SmartWool PhD Medium Snowboard Sock

Rating for this product: 5 December 7, 2011

Went snowboarding in these socks and it kept my feet nice and dry. My toes gets cold more easily, and I found that with these it was no longer an issue. It's not too thick for a midweight sock, so my boots (which are snug) still fit perfectly. Really comfortable to walk around in & performs great on the slopes. It's a good price for merino too!
