I'm considering these for touring/ski mountaineering. For now I need a "quiver of one", good for both winter and spring. I'm 5'11", 195-200lbs I guess, and I'm wondering whether anyone has thoughts whether I should go for the 177 or 187. My mainly in-bounds alpine skis are 184's, 100mm underfoot.

I'm 195-200lbs, interested in this for touring/mountaineering. Candidly, I probably bring more strength than technique. Would 181's work, or should I be looking at a beefier ski?
