I am driven by an intense passion for experiencing nature and it's majesty to the fullest extent. Hiking, backpacking and skiing are my tools to paint the canvas of my life with as many awestruck gnarly experiences I can. Gear is my vice; I can't get enough footwear, backpacks or jackets. My outdoor idols are Yvon Chouinard, John Muir, Jeremy Jones, Nick Waggoner, Ian Macintosh...well there are too many. Live long and shred till you die.

I am an expert skier from the Northeast so I ski VT, NH and ME.

I am an expert skier from the Northeast so I ski VT, NH and ME. I get out west maybe once a year and I like to bring my own setup rather than rent. That said, are the Goats a suitable "northeast ski"? I currently ski groomers on 184cm Volkl G20s from '00 and powder on Dynastar Sultans. Is it safe to say I could narrow down to a 1-ski quiver with the Goats?
