What I really like about these shirts is that they are soft like cotton, but quick drying like polyester. It's a good blend as I see it. I've worn other brands which are slippery/shiny or just a bit rough, but not as soft as the North Face Ruckus. I like a wicking outdoor T shirt for hiking, backpacking, and canoeing because they dry rapidly unlike cotton, and therefore keep you warmer on those cooler days. One last point... this shirt doesn't have the stink factor either, like so many synthetics do. You can get away with wearing it all day and not send your camp buddies packing! The fit is true to size, and as others have stated, a looser fit [not tight to the torso]. Since I like the looser style, this shirt wins high marks with me! A great T for all outdoor activities!

I purchased this jacket after already owning the North Face SDS 1/4 zip fleece shirt, which I really like. The jacket is very similar. This is a good midweight fleece jacket for the fall or spring. It's nothing fancy compared to other North Face jackets which I own, but has it's place. If you need a jacket to toss on over a t-shirt on those cool, but not freezing days this one will work well. Nice fit, nice feel, and just what I have come to expect from The North Face in quality.

I have been a huge fan of Marmot for many years, owning several different garments. The Firelight Vest is well constructed and sturdy, and has all the stuff which I love about Marmot. Good fit. Good looks. Nice features with waist drawcord and inside chest pocket with zip. Layers well with other fleece jackets. I'd recommend this vest to anyone looking for a fleece vest with a cut above the basics.

I have used and trusted Marmot products for over ten years. In needed a midweight fleece jacket, and I found the Marmot Firelight here and ordered it. It is a great jacket! Comfortable, warm, and versatile with all the little pluses that I've come to expect from Marmot. Solid construction, and handsome color and looks! I would highly recommend this jacket!
