Bring back the real flexfit hat!!

Backcountry.com Nebraska Softshell Hat

Backcountry.com Nebraska Softshell Hat

Rating for this product: 2 December 11, 2010

Not real impressed with this hat. First note...this is not a flexfit brand hat, looks like one, but fits way different. I got the small/medium and it fits tight. I am afraid to get the large cause I think it will be too big. I think it will be like one of the other soft shell hats they had and it will look like a big dome. The brim is way too big for the hat too. Props to the logo though. The backcountry logo is stellar!!
Conclusion....Stick with the trucker.

P.s. Backcountry, Please bring back the Flexfit brand hat!!! Put your logo on that one, everyone loves flexfit.

The Mrs. Loves 'em!

Smith Heiress Goggle - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 January 4, 2010

I got these for my wife for Christmas and she loves them. They fit under her helmet and there is no gap at all. She looks good in them! I got her the blue/black/purple dots. She doesn't have any problems with them fogging up and they fit her small face.

Great Bag!

Timbuk2 Classic Messenger Bag

Timbuk2 Classic Messenger Bag

Rating for this product: 4 January 4, 2010

I went out on a limb purchasing this "man purse", but it was a good deal and I don't regret it. My wife teases me when I use it but it is perfect! It holds my laptop and anything else I need for long flights and just kickin' it. It has tons of powerfull velcro to hold the flap shut, it will even stay shut with out the clasps!

Backcountry.com Siphon Street Full-Zip Hooded Sweatshirt - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 3, 2010

I would agree with Even Stevens, you could live in this shirt!!! I am 6'5" 220 lbs and I bought an XL in the graphite. The shirt fits perfect. The length is great (and I always have problems with the length on shirts. The sleeve cuff is really nice if you don't want to use the thumb holes. It is warm and comfortable. I think I am going to order another one right now. Thirty two dollars!! You can't beat that price!

Sweet Tent!!!

Kelty Yellowstone 4 Tent 4-Person 3-Season

Rating for this product: 5 January 3, 2010

I have always stood by Kelty tents and after this summer's use I will continue to support them. This tent kept us dry in one of Yellowstone's fiercest thunderstorms. It hailed, rained, and almost flooded through our campsite. I couldn't believe it survived the hail storm. It didn't get a single rip or tear. There is plenty of ventilation through the screens. It was very easy to set up and tear down. I would recommend getting the footprint for it. It is large enough for a full size air mattress and a couple duffle bags.

Shakes a little

Thule Wheel On Bike Mount

Rating for this product: 3 January 3, 2010

I bought two of these tire holders to go on top of my car (one for my wifes bike, one for mine) hoping to save some space on the inside of the car. They do work although I had do do some modifications to make them work the way I wanted to. The first time I used it to hold the tires, it looked like the tires would wobble right out. The wind from driving shook the tires and made them wave. After I lashed them together I didn't have that problem. The other thing we were worried about was the fact that there is not a locking device on the holder. To eliminate that problem I took a cable style bike lock and looped it through the tires and the Thule support bar (which is locked). It works perfect with these mods.

KEEN Targhee ll Mid Hiking Shoe - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 January 3, 2010

Keen Does it again!!! My wife loves this hiking shoe! She wore it for a 15 mile hike through Glacier National park this last summer and she didn't complain once about blisters or tired feet (now only if there was something to keep her legs from getting tired :)).
