The North Face Base Camp Travel Canister - 215cu in

Nice organized interior - mesh keeps things where you want them - hangs up - and who doesn't love the bomb proof base camp laminate. These things looks cool (Miniature Base camp duffel) and are the perfect size. Can fit in checked bags or a backpack easily. My only complaint would be the mirror attachment. The one that comes with these is pretty chintzy. I went to my local REI and picked up a 3x4 acrylic mirror to replace the standard one and now it's good to go. Def. recommend this item!

Great addition

The North Face Base Camp Seat Companion

Quality zipper, clean look, and functional!
Made from the same bomb-proof laminate as the rest of the base camp line - this offering has a place for your passport, boarding passes, SIM/MiniHD cards, cash, cards, and cell phone. Fits nicely into the mesh pouch inside my backpack and protects its contents from water and grime. This thing is great. It looks good - keeps me organized - and will last forever.

I'm pretty sure they are referring to the case being 41mm wide and 47mm tall (The case being taller due to the extensions to connect to the band.)

I always take the straps off and stow them in the mesh pocket on the inside of the 'lid'. When I reach my destination, I open the bag, throw my carry on in it, take the straps out - and I'm on my way with 1 bag on my back.

Get a Large. I used my L Base Camp Duffel for my last 4 week trip in Europe and still had room to spare. Bag weighed in at 47lbs when I left. I just compressed it down with the straps on the side and when I arrived at my destination, I had room to throw my carry on in the duffel and throw it all on my back. XL's dimensions alone make it too big for some airlines.
