Marmot Power Stretch Pant - Men's

December 4, 2008

It is probably a personal pref on your part. I have a pair of pants made of the same Polartec Powerstretch material that are by far my favorite. I use them as a base layer when Alpine skiing, as an outer layer for xc skiing and yes I do also wear them inside all winter. They would be too warm for running if temps were 40 or above.

Katadyn Hiker Pro Water Microfilter

Katadyn Hiker Pro Water Microfilter

Rating for this product: 5 November 3, 2008

I used this filter on a Smokey Mts trip, it helped keep pack weight down since I only carried 1 liter of water. When I needed more, just stopped at a water source and refilled my Nalgene and my friends' too. Good for dayhikes if you don't want to carry extra water weight.
