I like hiking, then drinking a few double ipa's afterwards. Can't think of a better day, unless I'm on the lake doing the same.

Native Eyewear Throttle Interchangeable Sunglasses - Polarized

March 8, 2012

Maybe a bit late but I just picked these up. Sizing on my face these things are tiny. I would consider myself on the bigger face size so it's my fault for not checking the description that says medium. Width wise these are perfect, nose pads were awesome, but on my face they look like my daughter's sunglasses. Definitely would look better on a small face.

Stoic Merino Comp Hiking Socks - 2-Pair

Stoic Merino Comp Hiking Socks - 2-Pair

Rating for this product: 5 February 12, 2012

At this point it almost seems pointless to comment on these, but I will. I am pretty new to non-cotton socks. The majority of my socks are the ones you buy on sale at target. You know the ones that are 30 pairs for like $10. These socks have put an end to that. I've had these for about a month now and have worn them several times. They have been machine washed at least 4-5 times and machine dried at least once. No signs of wear and still THE ABSOLUTE MOST COMFORTABLE SOCK I'VE EVER WORN. Thanks for your time.

Stoic Overhang Pant - Men's

January 26, 2012

While I don't have a picture I could give you a slightly colorblind guy's opinion.
I would say they are a dark brown to an olive color. I asked the old lady and she went with an olive as well. Definitely a good color choice. I got the denim(read BRIGHT blue) as well. They are so comfy you don't care what color they are.

Well I just got them out of the box expecting these ugly(but cheap!) things that were pictured on bc. I was pleasantly surprised when I pulled out this pretty sweet pair of shoes. Plan on hiking Zion tomorrow in the rain so I'll try to update when I get a chance.
The main reason I wanted to comment was I ordered these at 4 pm yesterday!! Got the free 2 day shipping from backcountry. I LOVE this site (almost as much as SAC) and as soon as I figure out how to upload pix from my iPad you can see how much better these look than the photo above.

Stoic Breathe Composite Bottom - Men's

Stoic Breathe Composite Bottom - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 7, 2011

Picked these up last week. Tried them on and they're pretty soft. Took them out hiking this week in 20 degree weather, and while I was busy taking off shirts and coats due to sweating getting cold and putting everything back on, my legs felt perfect. No sweat, awesome warmth. Wore them 3 days in a row and no stank, at least my co-worker didn't complain. Sizing seems pretty accurate. I'm 6'2" 190# usually wear a 36x36 pant(34" length exposes my ankles when I sit down) and the large fits great. Picked em up on SAC but definitely worth $50
