After purchasing two of these long sleeve "merino bliss" shirts I added two short sleeve "bliss" shirts to my wardrobe. Between the four, I wear them all of the time as a base layer, to work out in and to live in. These are simply great: very little odor even after multiple days of wear, comfortable and fashionable. A friend had me order two Stoic 150 bliss shirts for her son as a gift and he too loves them. Stoic is a great brand: quality fabric and stitching. I'm 5'10" and 150 pounds, athletic build and the small size fits snug but is still comfortable. The medium fit my friends son who about the same size, so either would work. I love the thumb loops to keep hands warm when gloves aren't needed.

I like Patagonia products for their functionality and flair and this capilene zip neck top is all of that. The two tone contrast on the mango shirt is subtle and the shirt would pass for a semi-dressy in a pinch. Size Medium fits well and I consider myself between small and medium @ 38" chest, long torso and 32" arms, athletic build. I have since purchased 4 merino wool shirts by another fine maker, Stoic and in comparison to this polypropylene Capilene top, the merino wool is a hands down winner in the "no odor retention" category. Polypro, on my body is definitely a "one day" affair.....merino wool hangs in there for 3 days or more and I'm still acceptable to be around. Also, merino wool products wick moisture from the arm pit area, a nice feature whichever manufacturer you choose.

I took a chance on the Stoic Brand with my first purchase of this fleece hooded jacket and have purchased 6 additional Stoic items. This is a first quality hooded jacket that is warm, comfortable and has a nice appearance. The hood zips up to keep the face toasty warm and the fabric and stitching appear durable. I have a First Ascent Hangfire Hoody and this is a notch up in warmth and overall quality. i'm 150 pounds, athletic build with long arms and a 38" chest and the medium fits great. Thank you Stoic for fine pieces of clothing that feel great and look good.

This is a beautiful piece of clothing that has the features I am looking for plus comes in highly visible and attractive colors this year including cayenne red and curry yellow. The cut of the jacket, longer in back, shorter in the front is great for a harness and the hood is helmet friendly without being cavernous so that your head gets lost without a helmet. The side zips extend all the way from inside the biceps of the sleeve arm down to the hem of the garment making it highly ventable as well as highly breatheable. The medium size fits me well @ 150 pounds and 32" arms. Overall a great performing garment that is suitable for ice climbing, back country skiing and looking good around town.
