Stoic Welder Hi Softshell Jacket - Men's

What about cycling? Hubby likes to bike to work, even in cold wet (rain/snow) weather. Would this be a good outer layer for him, maybe with just a light or medium weight base layer?

Perfect size for purse, everyday

Laken Hit Bottle - 0.6L

Laken Hit Bottle - 0.6L

Rating for this product: 5 July 1, 2011

This is on the small side for any kind of physical activity, but it is the PERFECT size for carrying around in my purse every day. I bought this in blue, which is a nice lustrous color. The best part though is the cap. I've got plenty of other bottles this size, but the cap on this is better than all of them. Not only does it have the cover, which keeps dirt, lint, dust, whatever, from touching the drinking surface. It also has two tabs which you use to twist it open in to the drinking position. I prefer this to the Sigg sport tops, because those require me to put my fingers directly on the drinking spout in order to open and close it. But the Laken keeps it nice and clean and touch-free. It's watertight, and I've never had problems with any of my Laken bottles leaking, as long as I make sure to twist the spout all the way closed. It's easy to remember, since it's impossible to close the dust cover unless the spout is down! I also like the slight indentation, which makes it easier to grip, especially if there is any condensation on the outside. And the mouth is wide enough to get a dish-scrubbing brush in there, plus ice or whatever.

And you can't beat the price ($8.98). I think I'm going to buy another one to have on hand in case I ever lose this one.

Cute, but a bit too narrow

Reef Anola Sandal - Women's

Reef Anola Sandal - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 June 9, 2009

Really cute sandals, but fit narrower than my other Reefs. Because of this, the inside strap goes farther under my arches than normal, making it a bit uncomfortable. It's fine for hanging out, but I wouldn't wear them if I planned to do a lot of walking.
