Petzl Meteor III + Climbing Helmet

Petzl Meteor III + Climbing Helmet

Rating for this product: 5 August 30, 2011

I wish I had bought this helmet sooner. Of course you save weight in your pack when it needs to be carried (always a good thing.) But the energy you save from not having a heavier helmet on your dome is also substantial. Much better range of movement, and the fit is great.

Junker knife

Petzl Spatha Knife

Petzl Spatha Knife

Rating for this product: 1 August 30, 2011

It is lightweight, and it is sharp. However, a knife without a lock has no place. It's too easy to have that blade fold back on you.

I think it's BS that Petzl even puts one out like this.
