I would recommend trying an XL, this is a very aggressive, form fitting cut designed specifically for cycling.

STG - I'd recommend a double-walled bottle. I've tried coffee in my Sigg, stays "warm" for a very short duration. However without a double wall the bottle also gets becomes hot to handle.

Dr. Jones is right - the Cutter Drome lock fits comfortably over your shoulder rambo style. The inner diameter measures 38". The inline style of the locking mechanism gives this bike lock a rounded shape that fits well when slinging the lock over your shoulder.
