Super soft on the inside and out. I've worn the Osito with only a sports bra underneath (on my way to the trail for a run) and it's super warm and non-abrasive. Love this jacket.

Pure Awesomeness

The North Face Osito Fleece Jacket - Women's

I've gone through a half dozen fleece jackets including Mountain Hardware and Patagonia, and as much as I really like both of those manufacturers, nothing compares to the North Face Osito. Since I bought it a few weeks ago, I've only not had it one when I'm asleep! It's a plush fleece that is amazingly warm, it's roomy enough for a layer underneath without being baggy, and the sleeves are a good length (something I have trouble with in other brands i.e., typically too short).

This has most certainly become my new standby fleece jacket, and the gray color is really lovely and matches everything really well.

Go for it, you WILL be very warm and happy.
