Also, if you get the Fritschi Freerides with the Super XL brake size, the shop where you get them mounted can bend the brakes (slightly too skinny stock) to make them fit.

good pants overall

Great Multi-Use Pack

These pants spoiled me.

Spyder US Team Pant w/ Athletic Fit - Men's

I've had these pants for about 5 years now. It's a solid design. The combination of the suspenders, full side zip, velcro/snap boot cuffs and pocket key leash are hard to beat and more than make up for the fact that the pair I ended up with are purple. Oh and there was a plastic Hypercolor thermometer thing on the outside? That came off real quick. Wishlist: actual bibs with inside pockets.

my favorite pants

prAna Sonora Pant - Men's

I have three pairs of these pants and they are definitely my favorite pants. prAna sizes fit me well in general, but this style fits me better than, say, the Raven, which tends to run on the smaller side. They transition well from climbing to casual to business casual, even. All around a great pair of pants, even for the retail price.
