SealLine Storm Sack Dry Bags

August 9, 2011

Go for the 10L. You'll want to include some padding and the 10L will accommodate the projector and the pads.

Columbia Deep Ghyll Jacket - Men's

July 26, 2011

Not any appreciable amount. It's meant to be a secondary layer, not a winter coat.

Yakima Sky Box 18 Cargo Box

July 14, 2011

I don't know about the fit issues but Yakima bars typically have a higher load weight than most factory systems.

Mammut Trion Guide 45 +7 Backpack - 2746cu in

July 14, 2011

It's possible but I'd use climbing webbing to do it; that way you have the utilitarian side as well.

Heritage Kayaks RedFish 14 Kayak

July 5, 2011

Yes. I'm 6'4" 240lbs and have some issues in everything from Heritage. They're not bad just designed a little too narrow through the thigh area.

SealLine Black Canyon Boundary Dry Pack

July 5, 2011

It's great! I took one of these into the backcountry of Kentucky a couple weeks ago-- during some ridiculous rains and flooding-- I had no problems whatsoever and the ease of access is just like every other dry pack.

Engineers always have a reason. I'm with you though, the polished finish would have been nice!

Wilderness Systems Pamlico 100 Kayak

July 5, 2011

This one will do a good job plus, if you mess up, it's easily repairable-- holds a patch well. The seat could use a little something for comfort on longer runs though!

Thule Stacker Carrier

July 5, 2011

9'8" and 9' on one side and then angle the other 9'8" on the other. I'd use an extra strap though, since it's off balance.

Sierra Designs Verde Sleeping Bag: 20 Degree Synthetic

July 5, 2011

It's not quite that compressible but it does pack well. It also has a higher return to loftiness than down so the trade off is worth it as long as it'll fit in the pack.

I'd recommend this compression sack with it:

Smith Variant Brim Helmet

They should work just fine. I haven't tried the pairing but would expect the relatively standard designs of the goggles and helmet to mesh well.

It comes with the latest firmware available at the time of production. With the rate of advance in these though, I'd say you're likely to need an update prior to use.
