  • Stomping Grounds:

    Oregon/Washington Cascades & Blue Mountains
  • Bio:

I'm a life-long outdoor enthusiast with more than 20 years of experience in Idaho, Washington and Oregon mountains. I've bike camped the Oregon & N. Cal coast, run major western rivers, car camped State Parks, caught salmon in the Columbia and Willamette, hunted pheasants in Idaho and spent a lot of time on xcountry ski trips in Idaho. I've got a degree in philosophy, am an ebibliophile and computer geek--love my family, photography, and being in the wild. Currently training for a Mt. Hood summit attempt in 2011 and Rainier in 2012.

GSI Outdoors Halulite Tea Kettle - 1qt

GSI Outdoors Halulite Tea Kettle - 1qt

Rating for this product: 5 November 24, 2011

I have the nested soloist 'ketalist' kit and love it! Absolutely the best all around water boiler I've used, and a great system of cup/bowl. This kettle has elevated to 'instant replace' status should anything happen. My only wish is to have a whistling spout cover--it is a kettle after all.
