Osprey Packs Exos 58 Backpack - 3300-3700cu in

May 26, 2011

Ok so I measured my sons torso and came up with 17 in. I even ent as far as taking him to an outdoor store to try on a pack tha twas for torso fit 18.5-20. It was slightly big but since he is 12 and still growing the store recommended that he stick with that legth. I was looking at a medium in this would you recommend that?

Black Diamond HiLight Tent: 2-Person 3-Season

May 26, 2011

Hey this looks like an awesome tent for my boyscout son. It is lightweight. the thing is he has to share it with another scout and be able to store a foot locker and/or a hiking bag in it. Is it big enough and would you recommend it for him?

Marmot Limelight 3-Person Tent w/ Footprint and Gear Loft

May 26, 2011

Is this a good tent for boyscouting? He will be sharing and they will not be sharing the load. They take turns bringing the tent. I need to know if this si easy to set up and if it is tooo heavy a load should I consider the 2 person tent. It would need to still hold 2 scouts and gear.
