Nice shorts

Stoic Overhang Short - Men's

Stoic Overhang Short - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 May 7, 2012

I agree with some of the comments here...the shorts are nice and have some cool features (pockets). The sizing is a bit tricky. For reference, I'm 5'7" and about 150#, 30" waist...the smalls are wayyy too snug in the hips/legs but the mediums fit good if a bit tooo roomy in the waist. They hang low on the hips but are doable.

All in all, I'm psyched about getting them and have decided to keep the shorts.

Great shirt

Mountain Hardwear Estero Zip T-Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Men's

Mountain Hardwear Estero Zip T-Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 May 7, 2012

Mountain Hardwear doesn't need any back up from me but.... This shirt is really nice even though I returned it. The sizing issue is a none issue really, just personal preference.... I intended to use it riding my MTB and just wasn't convinced it was going to fit me correctly over time. The size, in medium, is pretty good. Generous in length for a shorter person and has a relaxed, but trim, fit.

I'd recommend this piece of clothing for all kinds of use.

Good Cooler for a good price

Mountainsmith Deluxe Cooler Cube - 1600cu in

Mountainsmith Deluxe Cooler Cube - 1600cu in

Rating for this product: 4 April 23, 2012

For years, I've been toting around a "hard" cooler for my beverages...I picked this "soft" cooler up after recently seeing one in use on an MTB trip to the desert.

Mountainsmith has done a pretty good job with this cooler. It's a simple design, has a couple of nice buzzes and whistles (built in opener!) and keeps ice intact for a good 4 hrs + in warmer weather. The fold down can holder is a "game changer".....really.

Good Glove

Black Diamond Legend Glove - Men's

Black Diamond Legend Glove - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 February 16, 2012

I bought these based on my past experience with BD products. These gloves are built well, warm (enough), and durable.

I bought a size Large and have found them to be a little too big but that's no fault of BD. The glove design works well under the cuff of my jacket(s). They have held up well under the current "wet" snow conditions we've been experiencing here in the Wasatch.

Dexterity isn't a problem as the design of the glove makes for a nice precurved finger shape.

Bottom line for me...happy.

They stay in place and produce decent sound. I ski with them but haven't ridden with them yet.

Atomic Atlas Ski

Awesome. That just about sums it up. They're big, stiff, fast. A bit "planky" on hard pack but man, oh man are they fun.

Awesome Binding

Atomic FFG 14 Team Ski Binding

Atomic FFG 14 Team Ski Binding

Rating for this product: 4 January 23, 2012

I'm pretty new to full on alpine but have been skiing for 15 years. I am a convert from telemark skiing and was inclined to buy this particular binding on the advice of a friend so I really don't have much to compare it to.

One impression is that the color is a bit loud but I guess that's just the trend...it does, however, match the graphics on my Liberty skis...lucky I guess.

Other than that....they keep my feet on the ski just fine. Solid lock down.

These are the best goggles EVER

Smith I/O Interchangeable Optics Spherical Series Goggles

Smith I/O Interchangeable Optics Spherical Series Goggles

Rating for this product: 5 January 22, 2012

Ok, ok...I'm a big Smith fan...I admit it. But, I've looked and worn/used other brands and I always come back to Smith.

What I love about these goggles is 1) the visibility 2) the mirror lenses and 3) the fit. I have a "normal" size mug and they fit great.

I haven't tried changing out the lenses..no reason yet...but I'm sure it'll be a cinch.

Bottom line = buy them (but only if you need them).
