Arc'teryx Theta SV Jacket - Men's

May 17, 2012

Losha, a small would probably work. To ensure the best fit I'd measure your chest/waist/hip/sleeve and reference the Size Chart. It's underneath the Select Options bar at the top right of the page.

Arc'teryx Crossbow Jacket - Men's

March 15, 2012

JTS - if you tend to get cold I'd go with the Crossbow. The Blue Ray color looks great. Any of the colors you mentioned for the Sabre pants would look pretty good. All depends on your personal steez preference...

Arc'teryx Motus Crew - Short-Sleeve - Men's

March 14, 2012

Ryan - the stats are incorrect, there is not a stash pocket on this shirt. Having said that, this is my favorite synthetic crew. Incredibly breathable, quick-drying and the face fabric is much more resistant to pilling than other synthetics I've tried...

Arc'teryx Crossbow Jacket - Men's

March 13, 2012

jts - the main difference is that the Crossbow has a higher loft insulation around the core, making this a warmer jacket than the Sabre.

Arc'teryx Crossbow Jacket - Men's

February 1, 2012

Sigurd, from their website: "Expedition fit is suitable for winter/extreme conditions. Expedition garments larger cut accommodates multiple layers without binding or restricting movement." The Crossbow does not have a roomier fit than the Rush. Also, the face fabrics are different between these two jackets. The Rush incorporates two different types of Gore-Tex Pro Shell while the Crossbow utilizes Gore-Tex Soft Shell. The Rush is slightly more durable and breathable while the Crossbow gives you a little more warmth due to the full fleece backer on the back panel.

Arc'teryx Atom SV Insulated Hoody - Men's

December 20, 2011

The Atom SV is a great piece for what you've described. It will be as warm as your current combination and is so breathable being too warm shouldn't be an issue. The DWR coating also makes this a versatile stand alone piece.

Arc'teryx Stingray Jacket - Women's

December 20, 2011

Dave - this jacket is sized to accommodate layers. Check out the video below, the one and only Brandini Couloirlile is wearing an Atom LT Hoody and Phase AR base layer under his Stingray (no upsizing on the Stingray)

Arc'teryx Tau Fleece Jacket - Men's

November 15, 2011

This would fare pretty well. Depending on the activity one of the Rho base layers or an Atom LT pull over might be a better fit...

Arc'teryx Alpha FL Jacket - Men's

November 14, 2011

The Gore membrane itself is guaranteed waterproof. In this case the new Gore-Tex Active Shell receives a DWR treatment to help prevent saturation of the exterior fabric. Saturation or wetting out can lead to conductive heat loss and the fabric taking on water weight.

Cutter Cyclical eVent Jacket - Men's

May 12, 2009

Pump the brakes...they may look similar but IMO - The Cyclical fits WAY better than the Elite 2.0. The zippered cuffs and contoured fit of the arms make it the best-fitting cycling jacket I've owned.

The Elite has two things on the Cyclical - 11" pit zips and an optional hood attachment. Having said that, I've never over-heated in the Cyclical (thank you eVent!) Offering the hood as an option/upgrade is sweet though...

Cutter Little 500 Mini Pump

Cutter Little 500 Mini Pump

Rating for this product: 4 May 5, 2009

Trouble free for a three months now. The Cutter Little 500 Mini Pump is a solid unit that accompanies me on road and mountain rides. Only complaint is having to unscrew and flip the Presta/Schrader inside the pump head.
