New Balance 890 Running Shoe - Men's

I've run in Asics for the last several years, but decided to give these a try. Never been a huge fan of NB running shoes, but I'm hooked on the 890. They're crazy light and the light weight doesn't come at the expense of comfort. I typically wear a 9.5 running shoe, but these seemed to run a bit larger than most running shoes I've had in the past. Ended up going down to a 9.

Scarpa Vapor V Climbing Shoe - Vibram XS Grip2

Picked these up about a week ago. I'm a 8.5 street and originally sized down 1.5 sizes (39.5), but ultimately went with 1 size down from street (40). The 39.5 was a bit too tight for my liking, and it was a 2 man job to get them on and off. The 40 is perfect. Still tight and my toes are jammed just right. Climbed in them all weekend and they haven't stretched much, staying pretty true to size. They're great for edging and provide tons of control. My fav shoe.

The North Face Paramount Peak Cargo Short - Men's

Bought these with the intent to scale some sport routes, but after trying them on I was swimming in them. I'm a 32 waist and got a medium. Waist was good, but when climbing I personally prefer a slimmed down, tapered look with material that's more on the stretchy side...these aren't them. I'm sure they'd be great for those that like droopy crotches.

Yes, I looked at both and ended up buying the FC 3.0. They're both going to offer great support for child and are very similar in terms of making the right safe and comfortable for the little one. The main reason we opted for the Kelty is the adjustable hip belt. I was in the market for a pack that both my wife and I could use, and the Kelty's hip belt performed far better than the Deuter's adjustable shoulder straps. I'm on the shorter side (5'8") and my wife is too (5'3") and the Deuter, even when adjusted to it's shortest setting, didn't fit my wife at all and barely fit myself. The lower you adjust the shoulder straps on the Deuter the higher the pack sits. It distributed the weight way too high on my back. In comparison the hip adjustable hip belt fit allowed the bag to fit perfectly on both my wife and I, while keeping the weight distributed properly. My only beef with the Kelty is the fact that it is quite beefy...I would love it if it had the option to remove the upper storage compartment.
