Nixon 51-30 Watch - Men's

Nixon 51-30 Watch - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 January 9, 2008

this watch is beautiful but in the way a wall clock is- largest watch going, around 48mm as a comparrison most Tags, omegs etc are 40-42mm sets your head apart man so if you can sport it you will love it as its different, substantial and takes a pounding, wear it to board, wear it to dinner, wear it to work so other know you arent inline with the corporate policies of office spaced drones- a fair price for what you get and how it looks, performs and holds up- or you could get saysome ties and stock in microsoft jimmy

WOW! this has it all!

Arc'teryx Seeker Comp Softshell Jacket - Men's

Arc'teryx Seeker Comp Softshell Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 August 3, 2007

I am a big fan of Arc'teryx but have been moving away recently as they started making some garments in China rather than Canada (as had always set them apart)- but the quality is beyond arguments and thus I returned for this softshell- and good god am I happy- I had almost ordered another gamma mx hoody as I had been so happy with my last one and then I took a chance- and I agree with the gentleman who said "gamma mx beater" this baby is sleek and does it all, has it all! the price is amazing and guess what...MADE IN CANADA (unlike the new gamma mx's) Sure it is the middle of the summer now so i cannot test it but you just know with some jackets that they are dialed in and ready to shine and this is one for sure- colors are great, hood has extra adjustment that cinches it to perfection, gusseted arms allows maximum range of motion and reinforcements in key areas will allow for more down and durty tree rubbing etc as well as seal those areas that are more prone to downpours- they got it right on this one- grab it-
ps- this site is the way to go, been amazing in all return issues pricing etc, others like the "trec" fluctuate prices, send coupons you cannot use etc- straight forward and responsive- done deal

good, stylish SHADERS FOR YOUR HEAD

Electric BSG Sunglasses

Electric BSG Sunglasses

Rating for this product: 4 August 10, 2006

These are nice, fit good, have large coverage, so you don’t look like a fathead- and good blockage- lenses are good but not as good as Von zipper or oaktrees (Oakleys) but go for it at a fraction of the price, the faded ones are sweet for light in and eyes blocked so you can watch the enemy.

The best, simply, purely

Arc'teryx Stingray Jacket - Men's

Arc'teryx Stingray Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 March 10, 2006

The Stingray is by far the best of the best all around for winter, fall, and spring alpine and physical activities. I have used the sidewinder, but the neck actually makes it worse and it is hardshell so no real use other than ski/board (as it looks space like worn out to music etc) the gamma softshells are nice but not waterproof. The alpha comp comes close but the Stingray adds wind near proofness, a pit zip system, and a light brushed internal layer. By far this beats the need for hardshells for all but the truest mountaineers. Great for Vermont winter runs, boarding, climbing, and wearing out. One wish is a cinch on hood and neck. Other than this TOPS!

Update-Impressed!!

The North Face Welded Omega Jacket - Men's

The North Face Welded Omega Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 19, 2006

This is an update to my earlier review, I wore this jacket with the Patagonia R2 fleece to snowboard today in Northern Vermont. It was 2F with windchills much lower; this jacket kept me out of the wind and completely dry in the sleet that came as well. That is a lot to ask from a jacket, and at this weight, I was impressed! I still wish it had more give in the arms (gusseted would be great) and it was a bit longer, but it still performs and looks a 5/5!

Cloudveil Troller Glove

Cloudveil Troller Glove

Rating for this product: 5 January 19, 2006

These gloves are great for wearing in extreme cold or mild weather. They last with real use and look great as well. Coudveil is a great company (recently sold so we will see) this is a great pair of gloves for anything and the price is definitely worth it as they will last.

The North Face Welded Omega Jacket - Men's

The North Face Welded Omega Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 January 17, 2006

This is a nice shell. I love the feel of the fabric; it sheds water like a hard shell but offers no insulation whatsoever, so you must layer below around 40F. Also, it is not gusseted like the Gamma MX, so it does ride up if you lift your arms. It accepts layers much better than the MX and looks great. Hood is welded, and I had no leakage in a rain storm and a snow storm as I tested it out. A bit short cut for guys over 5ft 10in (Large was just acceptable on me in front, back is fine). All in all a great jacket that outshines most others. Also consider Arc’teryx Gamma MX and Patagonia Dimension in this category.

Patagonia Ready Mix Jacket - Men's

Patagonia Ready Mix Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 May 20, 2005

This is a great softshell- it feels like silk and follows your movements perfectly! Resists water for sometime- but doesn’t provide any insulation. With a fleece underneath it will do the job until winter.
