Great for rafting and kayaking. I have used it for many rescues and love this jacket! The drink pocket in the front is handy and the inside pocket is large enough to keep everything I want in it.

DC Search 2010

DC Search Snowboard Boot - Women's

DC Search Snowboard Boot - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 March 11, 2011

This boot is awesome! Very light weight and comfortable once packed out. DC is one of the few companies to start making true half sized boots. This means the liner and shell are the same size however it does take about a week of riding for them to fit comfortable and pack out (when you buy a boot it should fit Really snug). This boot has the boa system which has a lifetime warranty. Also, they have gotten rid of the brackets that hold the boa wires and introduced a light weight kevlar under the fabric to prevent the boot from tearing up and pressure points from forming on your feet and ankles. These boots offer great support for a great day on the mountain.

KEEN Venice Sandal is a Savier for a River Guide

KEEN Venice Sandal - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 March 7, 2011

I wear these EVERY day of the summer as an expedition guide! Whether I'm on the river, in a cave, or out hiking these save my feet all the time. I watch all the other guides wear Chacos and their toes come out bleeding every day. I love the toe protection on these and the fact that I can have my feet in the water and when I bring them out I don't have to deal with shoes that stay soaking wet. Who wants pruned feet or foot rot when you've been hiking through a cave all day?

The only thing I can possibly say I don't like is that they are kinda heavy when I am trying to swim and don't really help me out if I'm trying to swim a rapid to get to a customer in distress.

KEEN Targhee ll Hiking Shoe

KEEN Targhee ll Hiking Shoe - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 March 7, 2011

Love them unless they get water in them and for the fact my left shoe starts rubbing and gives me blisters on my ankle after a few miles of hiking. I just have to put tape on my ankles and wear socks that come up a little further but they are great hiking shoes other than that.

Gaia Purge Valve WET Bag

Gaia See Turtle Dry Bag

Gaia See Turtle Dry Bag

Rating for this product: 1 March 7, 2011

My ex got me this bag as a gift. I HATE it. I can't even use it because whatever is in it is guaranteed to come out soaking wet. When you're a river guide and you're supposed to be keeping your customers valuables dry... it sucks when you go to get something and its ruined or soaked because your dry bag failed you. I emailed the company seeing if I could get a different bag of the one I have replaced because maybe there was something wrong. Never received a response from them.

Cam Straps

NRS 1in Heavy-Duty Tie-Down Straps

NRS 1in Heavy-Duty Tie-Down Straps

Rating for this product: 5 March 7, 2011

These things come in handy in sooo many situations. Good for strapping stuff to your car, strapping down gear in your raft, hanging tarps or your food away from the animals of the woods. Well worth a few bucks. I also use them as my 'Oh S..t! Line' across my raft in high water to hold on to if I'm about to fly out, or for people climbing back in something to grab onto. Set them up right and they'll never fail you.

Eagles Nest Outfitters DoubleNest Hammock

Rating for this product: 5 March 7, 2011

Best thing for camping ever! I use my hammock almost every day during the summer. I am a whitewater river guide and when I'm sleeping out in the woods I love the quick and easy convenience of throwing up my hammock and being able to relax. Doesn't take up much space in packing and is lightweight for hiking as well.

Hands down the best directional board I've ever taken out on a mountain. Very comfortable riding and holds a great edge. This is K2s best selling women's board and there is a reason for it.

Burton Deja Vu V-Rocker Snowboard - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 March 7, 2011

As with other Burton boards, this one is still very soft and I wouldn't recommend it for an aggressive rider. How ever this is a fun twin tip that rides well both ways and has a pretty good pop to it. Not the most memorable board to ride though.

Burton Lux Snowboard - Women's

Rating for this product: 3 March 7, 2011

This board is VERY soft. It has a light, surfy feeling and doesn't hold and edge all too well. Its great for a spring day when the snow is soft and slushy though. Rides well both directions and has an okay pop too it. I wouldn't recommend it for a girl that is a hard shredder.

Ride Compact Snowboard - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 March 7, 2011

Best women's board that Ride makes! Very comfortable riding all over the mountain and great for park too. Has a pretty good pop and rides comfortably in both directions. Slimewalls also are a great way to keep your board from getting too beat up riding those rails in the park. This board also has an awesome price point.

The women's pick of the day during demos! This board is super fun. Very playful and light with a lot of pop. I love a true twin and felt comfortable riding both directions on this board. Wish I could've been riding it a little longer. This is a great board if you want to step up your game in the park.

Rating for this product: 4 March 7, 2011

I loved this board riding the mountain. My only concern was the edges were very catchy at first so maybe get your shop to de-tune it a bit before you go ride. Other than that it has great pop and is a very comfortable riding board.

Rating for this product: 4 March 7, 2011

Great board. The only thing that feels weird at first is the way it rides. A little bit more of a surf feeling with this board but enjoyed riding it! Has great pop and stability in the park.
