Patagonia Print Boucau Halter Top - Women's

Patagonia Print Boucau Halter Top - Women's

Rating for this product: 2 June 15, 2009

This top looked amazing on the Patagonia model in the photo and the reviews were all very positive, but I didn't think this top was "highly supportive" at all. I think the under-bust band doesn't provide much support for a C cup and the the very thin "soft cups" add nipple coverage but no support or shaping. Just not very flattering for bigger cup sizes.

Patagonia Super Cali Short - Women's

Patagonia Super Cali Short - Women's

Rating for this product: 3 June 15, 2009

I ordered the size I usually wear in Patagonia clothes and these were too tight in the butt. (I don't have an especially large one.) I think if I sized up they would be overly roomy in the waist and thigh. Too bad -- otherwise they are very cute, a good material, and the perfect just-below-the-knee length.

Water Girl Trippin' Capris - Women's

Water Girl Trippin' Capris - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 August 10, 2006

I bought these for a trip to India in late June. I was hoping for something that would be loose and lightweight but also keep me fairly covered from the sun and mosquitos. They were perfect! They're comfortable, light, and super-cute; I get compliments every time I wear them.

Awesome skirt

Water Girl Trippin' Skirt - Women's

Water Girl Trippin' Skirt - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 August 10, 2006

I ordered this skirt because I needed something lightweight and yet long enough to seem modest while traveling abroad. It was absolutely perfect. It's comfortable, light, and flattering, and the floral embroidery on the side is a nice touch to dress it up a bit. Pair it with Patagonia's A/C Crinkle Shirt or Hemp Tank Top and you're ready for godawful heat in any country.

Patagonia R1 Flash Pullover - Women's

Patagonia R1 Flash Pullover - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 March 30, 2005

The moment my R1 Flash Pullover arrived I took it out for a jog. In 40 degree weather and just a sports bra underneath it was enough to keep me warm. It wicks superbly, much better than standard fleece, and the texture inside is nubby and fuzzy and incredibly comfortable. I found the length perfect--I have a somewhat long torso and find that many items ride up around my middle when running, but this length is great. It would probably only be too long if you were wearing a climbing harness. The sizing was a little looser than I expected. Other "medium" women's items from Patagonia fit me quite snugly, whereas this one is definitely roomy enough to accommodate at least a midweight layer underneath. If you plan to wear it with no base layer--either in warmer temps or just as streetwear--and you like a snug fit, you might want to order one size down.
