Super Comfortable

ExOfficio Give-N-Go Boxer - Men's

ExOfficio Give-N-Go Boxer - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 July 25, 2011

Just got off my first three day trip with these and found them to be very comfortable. No chafing and the fly come in very handy. I took a dip in the lake with these on and was not super stoked on how it took them more than half an hour to dry in the sun. Other than that, very good.

Does its Job

MSR Dromlite Bags

Rating for this product: 4 July 25, 2011

Decent Bag, enjoyed the different pouring options. The handle could use some improving, kind of awkward using the tab around the mouth. Seems to be durable though, which is why I chose this over the Platy.

Great Filter

Katadyn Vario Dual Technology MicroFilter

Rating for this product: 5 July 25, 2011

Just took this out for a few days in the Columbia Gorge. Like the last reviewer, I have been using the MSR Mini Works, and hands down this thing is at least twice as fast. The dual action pump works flawless. The pump is also much more ergonomic than the msr, much less fatigue pumping 10 liters than 5 with the MSR. My only complaint is that the foam float is worthless, should be an easy fix to make my own though.

Best Trail Shoe

Montrail Mountain Masochist WB Trail Running Shoe - Men's

Montrail Mountain Masochist WB Trail Running Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 July 12, 2011

I have logged well over 400 miles on these shoes and haven't a single complaint on comfort or wear. I saw many complaint about the lack of trail shield, however i have worn a 50 lb pack on several weekend trips and had no fatigue. We were mainly hiking on forest trails, so I cant speak about prolonged time on rock. They have also been my snowshoeing shoes and I saw no wear or had any leakage problems. They seem to have a slightly bigger toe box than other shoes I have worn which is a big plus for my feet. I have a second pair in the closet waiting in case they quit making these.

Quiet

Therm-a-Rest Prolite Plus Sleeping Pad

Therm-a-Rest Prolite Plus Sleeping Pad

Rating for this product: 5 June 28, 2011

Just used for first 2 night trip in the Columbia Gorge. Much quieter than my both of my companions pad's and compacted to decent size for such comfort. Needed a couple of breaths for desired inflation, but more or less was about perfect.
