Patagonia Torrentshell Jacket - Men's

Patagonia Torrentshell Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 March 3, 2011

I bought this jacket about a year ago, and it is an amazing purchase. The jacket is light weight, and perfect for any summer activity. You can fold it into one of its pockets and place it in your pack. The fit is as described, and has some room for a mid-layer if you need to. I live in Mammoth where spring snow is known as sierra cement, and snow showers are the norm. This jacket does a great job of keeping you dry - normally spring jackets are drenched for days after a brush with the wet snow. Patagonia makes an amazing product for the price.

Patagonia R1 Full-Zip Fleece Jacket - Men's

Patagonia R1 Full-Zip Fleece Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 March 2, 2011

I just received this glorious mid-layer today right before I went nordic skiing with my wife. The timing couldn't be more perfect because we are getting hit with a spring storm (really wet snow). I need a breathable, yet warm base layer to go under a shell jacket. It works as described and is really comfortable to just sit around in too. I am 5'9" 175 and a medium fit is perfect. If you are teetering whether to buy it or not, it is definitely worth the investment.
