Smith Phenom Goggle

Smith Phenom Goggle

Rating for this product: 4 November 16, 2011

Well made, sturdy, stylin, and sweet. The Phenoms have superb vision fields and do what goggles are supposed to do; protect and not intrude. I have a 58cm head circumference and smaller face. Purchased an I/O and found they were way too big. The Phenoms fit great. Also purchased some I/OS's and those fit great as well.

Patagonia Capilene 3 Zip-Neck Top - Men's

Patagonia Capilene 3 Zip-Neck Top - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 November 16, 2011

Comfortable, soft, non-restrictive, warm...what else are you looking for? Purchased for skiing and would do so again. The zip neck is a great feature. I personally like the loose fit as well. Not everybody feels good in tight clothing.

4 stars due to price but like anything else if you're willing to pay what they're asking then who are you to complain?

Does what it's supposed to and doesn't take up much space in a drawer or on the bench. What else do you need?

Like Butter

Smith I/OS Interchangeable Optic Goggle

Smith I/OS Interchangeable Optic Goggle

Rating for this product: 5 November 15, 2011

5 Stars based on fit. I originally ordered the I/O model and immediately knew it was too big. Sent them back using Backcountry's rockin' return policy and ordered the I/OS's instead. Pulled them out of the box, placed them on my head and they were like butter. No more nose gap and a kicking field of view. The downward view field is exactly what I was "looking" for. I don't have to drop my head so much to see my feet. I also own a pair of Phenom's and they fit pretty much like the I/OS but may be a tad bigger in the nose area but both fit me pretty well.

As a reference for those wondering, I have a smaller face and wear medium sized helmets for motorcycling, etc. I think I'm around 58cm in head circumference. So if you're in that neighborhood and don't have a large noggin then these or the Phenoms will probably treat you right.

As another point if you're a male, don't think that these are just the version made for chicks. They are super sweet on your face and look killer. Just don't get the pink version or you get what you deserve.
