Yakima BigHorn 4 Bike Rack

Yakima BigHorn 4 Bike Rack

Rating for this product: 4 June 16, 2005

The only problem with the bighorn is that it is attached to the hitch with a threaded bolt. This is time consuming the put on, and often the bolt shakes itself loose when driving on rough dirt roads. Yakima did make the threaded receiver removable but depending on the exact size of your hitch using a standard hitch pin makes the rack too shaky. Other than that, it is the easiest and cheapest way to get four bikes on your car. It is super fast to load and unload bikes. I would highly recommend buying the lock system with this rack.

Voile T Wood Shovel

Voile T Wood Shovel

Rating for this product: 5 March 29, 2005

I use this shovel for building snowboard jumps in the backcountry, and hopefully that is all I will ever have to use it for. I have heard some people mention t-handles being hard to use in comparison to d-handles, I have not had a problem with the t-handle on this shovel especially with gloves on. Plus the t-handle travels much better than a d. Have not had to use the saw yet but it is nice to know it is there, and it is the only one I have found that can cut wood. Highly recommended and its bomber construction feels super solid.
