Burton Trail Blaze Woven Top - Long-Sleeve - Women's

LOVE this shirt. The flannel is a bit on the thinner side but the cowl neck is just so freaking awesome. It's so big that it can even be worn as a hood if you get caught in the rain. The fit is also pretty true to size.

Volcom V.Co Infinity Scarf - Women's

Volcom V.Co Infinity Scarf - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 September 21, 2011

I purchased the mustard colored one expecting it to be a very nice mustard yellow as shown in the picture, but it's a bit darker... more of an ochre. I'm still keeping it though. It's very soft and warm. Should be great for this fall weather we've been having in Denver lately!

Great Pack but I wish it had more pockets...

Norrøna Narvik 15L Backpack - 915cu in

Rating for this product: 4 January 9, 2011

This pack is a great size for day trips, it has a few gear loops on it so you can strap extra things to the outside if necessary. There is also an internal pocket that fits my goggles perfectly. There are also two extra interior pockets, one that would hold a hydration bladder perfectly, and another that fits a shovel and probe. Here's a picture of the ski carry.

VERY soft, a bit too long, however.

prAna Mahdia Isis Pant - Women's

prAna Mahdia Isis Pant - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 January 5, 2011

These pants are wonderfully soft, the fabric is a "sueded micropoly/spandex blend" They are definitely slimmer fitting, but they flare out towards the bottom. I'm 5'6 and don't have abnormally short legs or anything, but I do find that these are a little on the long side and the slit up the back definitely doesn't help with keeping the cuff of the pants from getting stepped on. Another thing is they don't have the design printed on the lower leg as shown in the picture. I am keeping them, however... They're extremely comfortable =)

Definitely puts a stupid grin on MY face!

Atomic Blog Ski

Rating for this product: 5 December 24, 2010

SO much fun! I just got these bad boys and have a couple of days on them and so far I have no complaints whatsoever! They really are the do-it-all ski! Great energy into and out of turns on groomers, nice early rise tip and tail with regular camber underfoot. I'm 5'6" and have been skiing on and off (snowboard when I get bored with skiing) since I was two and I went with the 177cm length. I'm still getting used to skiing something with early rise and I do find myself getting a bit backseat sometimes, just make sure you figure out the weighting on these skis (if you're not used to early rise) before you do anything crazy!

Here's a picture of the tips of the skis so you can get an idea how early the rise actually is.

Crowbar for a smaller face.

Oakley Elevate Goggle

Rating for this product: 4 December 23, 2010

I got these goggles to replace my old Anon Figments that were falling apart due to me changing the lenses so often. I have always been a fan of Oakley Crowbars (I've had a few pairs in the past), but decided to try something new, and the Elevates caught my eye. Got them, and they are basically like a hybrid of the A frames and the Crowbars. They're for a smaller face (borderline too small for my own face) than crowbars. They also would work great with a helmet because the ends of the straps attach to the frame with a piece that can move to compensate for the extra bulk of a helmet, or compress down to fit nicely without a helmet. If you have a larger face/head, I wouldn't recommend these goggles, but they're great for most girls or smaller guys!

EDIT: The picture shown is me wearing the goggles with a RED Mutiny II Helmet. No gaper gap!

Incredibly warm and light weight.

Norrøna Lyngen Lightweight Down 750 Jacket - Women's

Norrøna Lyngen Lightweight Down 750 Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 December 23, 2010

I got this jacket as a mid layer for really frigid days, but today I managed to forget my shell when I went skiing, so I wore this as an outer layer with a Norrona Warm2 fleece underneath and was shocked at how windproof this is! After one run I was sweating like crazy in 30 degree weather. The outer fabric is nicely water resistant, but I wouldn't recommend wearing it in heavy snow or rain. It is also extremely light weight as well as compressible. My only problem with this jacket is the cut, it's really puffy in the middle and tends to ride up a little bit at the bottom so it makes it look like I've got a gut. Cut aside, this jacket is awesome.

Asymmetrical Zippers Rock!

Oakley East Side Full-Zip Hooded Sweatshirt - Women's

Oakley East Side Full-Zip Hooded Sweatshirt - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 December 19, 2010

I have this crazy thing for asymmetrical zippers lately. Absolutely love this sweatshirt. It's a bit more fitted than some of Oakley's other hoodies so if you want some room to breathe, I'd go a size larger than usual. The material also isn't very thick, so if you're looking for something more substantial, look elsewhere.

Oakley Batalion Full-Zip Hooded Sweatshirt - Women's

Oakley Batalion Full-Zip Hooded Sweatshirt - Women's

Rating for this product: 3 December 19, 2010

This hoody is pretty darn warm and comfortable except for one flaw... the zipper on the split hood pulls my hair ALL THE TIME. Other than that, the jacket fits really true to size, the fabric is nice and thick and soft, I just don't find the split hood to be the greatest thing ever.

Petzl Tikkina 2 Headlamp

Petzl Tikkina 2 Headlamp

Rating for this product: 5 December 13, 2010

Contrary to what the Tech Specs say for this product, it does actually have tiltable housing. This headlamp is nice and simple, no crazy bells and whistles. It as a dimmer setting which is nice. Sleek and simple. That's what I like.

Sorel Tivoli Boot - Women's

Sorel Tivoli Boot - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 December 5, 2010

These boots are fabulous. They're extremely cute, a breath of fresh air compared to a lot of other winter boots. No more huge clunky boots when it's snowy outside. They're very warm thanks to the 100g Thinsulate insulation and the fuzz around the top is extremely soft. A real winner!

The North Face Thatch Hooded Full-Zip Jacket - Women's

The North Face Thatch Hooded Full-Zip Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 December 3, 2010

This fleece is pretty cool, the fit is great, love the look of the asymmetrical zipper but I only gave it 4 stars because I find that it is a little hard to get the zipper started because it's so far over. At first, I thought it was way too small because of this, but once I got it zipped, it fit just fine. Also, the wrist cuffs are a bit wide for my liking, and when I put my thumbs through the thumb holes, I find it's kinda hard to use my hands for things. Overall a pretty good looking fleece though!

Norrøna Narvik Warm2 Stretch Jacket - Women's

Norrøna Narvik Warm2 Stretch Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 December 3, 2010

This fleece is great. I love the color, the fit, everything. The sizing chart is definitely accurate for sizing. It's very soft fleece on the inside, and smooth on the outside so it's easy to layer under other fleece-lined jackets.

Wouldn't change a thing!

Stoic Merino Bliss Shirt - Women's

Stoic Merino Bliss Shirt - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 December 3, 2010

This is a great shirt, it fits really true to the sizing chart. I love the thumb holes, I don't think they are too large, as stated in some reviews. I find that if the thumb holes are too small, they dig into the skin between my thumb and the rest of my hand and it can become painful. I also love the high collar on the shirt for those colder days. The fabric is very light weight, about the same thickness as a regular cotton t-shirt.

Perfect Earbuds

Skullcandy Asym Earbud Headphone

Skullcandy Asym Earbud Headphone

Rating for this product: 5 December 3, 2010

These earbuds are primo. I ALWAYS have problems with ear buds falling out if I even so much as turn my head while wearing them but these bad boys stay put quite well. The sound quality isn't bad either, they withstood the test of dubstep and handled the crazy bass beautifully.

Sweet Softshell, No Interior Pockets

Oakley More Than Softshell Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 November 29, 2010

This is a great looking softshell, fleece lined, I love the asymmetrical thing it's got going on. My only problem with it is that it has absolutely NO interior pockets, but I suppose that's pretty standard with softshells. As for fit, I went with a Large... I'm 5'6 and 155lbs and it fits great. Sleeves are pretty long, which I like as well.

EDIT: Just tried it on with a midweight sweatshirt underneath and decided to return it and go for an XL instead.

A hair small

The North Face NSE Traction Mule - Women's

The North Face NSE Traction Mule - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 November 26, 2010

Just got these today, I'm typically an 8.5 in most brands, and a 9 in some and since there weren't any half sizes, I just went for the nine, and I'm surprised to say they're a tad tight, not uncomfortably so, but I probably wouldn't be able to wear socks underneath them if I wanted to... anyways, they're quite warm and nice to wear around the house.

Mountain Hardwear Integral Crew Top - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 October 23, 2010

I'm 5'6 and 155lbs, and I went with the Large just because I like looser fitting clothes. I definitely would have been fine with a Medium, however. The length is awesome, nice and long, which I love. The sleeves are pretty long as well.

SmartWool PhD Running Ultra Light Mini Sock - Women's

SmartWool PhD Running Ultra Light Mini Sock - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 October 20, 2010

These socks are extremely comfortable. Not bulky at all with a very slight cushion on the heel and toe. The support that these socks have to offer is extremely apparent the moment you put them on, it's almost like having an extremely light ankle and arch brace.

CamelBak Magic Hydration Pack - Women's - 200cu in

Rating for this product: 4 May 5, 2010

I just received this backpack in the mail and it's a bit smaller than I would have liked, but it'll definitely work. The straps are amazingly comfortable, and the back panel helps ventilates nicely.

Backcountry.com Prime Power Stretch Hoody - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 January 20, 2009

I just picked this baby up and it's sooo comfortable! The Power Stretch Fleece makes it very easy to move in and also very warm. My only thing against it is the front Pockets are POINTLESS! I put my phone in it, turned around, and it fell right out! My hands even barely fit in them to warm them up if I have to! It fits very true to size though. I'm 5'6 and 150lbs and a Medium fits me perfectly.
