Comfy socks

SmartWool Stripe Socks -Infant/Toddler 2-Pairs Per Pack

SmartWool Stripe Socks -Infant/Toddler 2-Pairs Per Pack

Rating for this product: 5 January 3, 2007

These socks are very comfy and warm and the rubber spots on the bottom surface are great for traction. The socks tend not to stay up on our busy 15-month-old boy, however, and we are constantly pulling them up or putting them back on him -- perhaps a bit more spandex would do the trick? Be that as it may, Smartwool makes an outstanding product true to form with great colours and an excellent match with the hat and gloves combo.

Great hat and gloves

SmartWool Hat and Mitten Set - Infant/Toddler

SmartWool Hat and Mitten Set - Infant/Toddler

Rating for this product: 5 January 3, 2007

I purchased this set with the matching coloured sock set and they are outstanding. Mitts run a bit small, though, and we use them as a liner for our 15-month-old-son's larger nylon mitts. As always, an outstanding product from Smartwool.

Outstanding system. Bought this cup for my wife -- perfect size to cook up anything and change out is a snap. The Jetboil system is so versatile you have to wonder how you got along without it -- check out the accessories for this system and you will know what I mean.

Excellent quality

Arc'teryx Hardface Glove - Unisex

Arc'teryx Hardface Glove - Unisex

Rating for this product: 5 January 2, 2007

I'm still testing these, but they seem to work well by themselves in moderate temps, upper 30's to 40's, when active, but the lack of leather on the fingers limits their use somewhat. I am going to try them as a liner with an OR shell set -- slim fit of these gloves leads me to think they will work quite well in this application. As with all Arc'teryx products, quality goes without saying.
