Great fit but itchy on skin

Icebreaker Beast 150 Apollo Crewe - Short-Sleeve - Men's

Icebreaker Beast 150 Apollo Crewe - Short-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 January 18, 2012

I bought this shirt as a stand alone tee to climb in and go out in afterwards. BC has it as a regular fit, but its more slim/athletic than regular. I love the way it fits. Not too baggy, not too tight. Its also very soft. For the price though, I expected something thicker. This is a very thin shirt.

This is my first experience with merino wool other than with socks and I'm not a big fan. Its very soft, but feels itchy on my skin. I've only worn it around the house, but I find myself scratching my back and sides a lot. I was excited about this shirt hearing all the great things about merino wool, but maybe its just not for me. Looks like I'll be going back to polyester for my climbing shirts.

Small neck

I love the way the shirt feels. Its incredibly soft and feels good on the skin. I'll be returning it though. The neck is a lot smaller than most shirts and I could hear the fabric stretch/rip as I put my head through. Because its not cotton, it won't stretch much. Maybe I just have a big head

Broken already?

Princeton Tec Fuel 4 Headlamp

Princeton Tec Fuel 4 Headlamp

Rating for this product: 1 July 14, 2011

I have the Fuel 3 from S&C, not the Fuel4. I used the device on the strap to open the door in order to put the batteries in. I've heard about how flimsy the doors are so I tried to be gentle. Gentle didn't work because you have to apply a decent amount of force to open it. Tried a little harder and it opened! Too bad the door broke. I had just taken out the headlamp out of the packaging 5 minutes ago! I'd return it, but shipping it back alone would cost about half the price of the headlamp itself. Guess I'll just continually replace the door every time it breaks.

Shoes different lengths

La Sportiva Miura VS Vibram XS Edge Climbing Shoe

La Sportiva Miura VS Vibram XS Edge Climbing Shoe

Rating for this product: 3 April 18, 2011

Upgraded from the Evolv Optimus Primes. These shoes are super aggressive with great rubber. Sole is stiff and edging is great in these shoes. Why the 3 stars? The shoes were different sizes. Both were tagged 40 (I wear size 8.5-9 in street shoes for a sizing reference), but the left shoe was a tad bigger. Not sure why this is the case, but I didn't notice until about 2 weeks in. I had always felt that my left foot wasn't as secure on certain foot chips as my right foot, but I always just assumed it was because of the specific foot chip. I decided to compare the shoes and the left shoes was about a quarter inch or less longer. Might not seem like much, but it was for me. Will return mine with BC's great return policy. Will probably reorder in a 39.5 and hope for the best.

prAna Stretch Zion Pant - Men's

April 12, 2011

Is this the 32" or 30" inseam one? The cs rep I chatted with kept pointing me to the size chart, but I know there are 30" and 32" inseams for all the sizes.
