Hestra Army Leather Gore-Tex XCR Glove

Hestra Army Leather Gore-Tex XCR Glove

Rating for this product: 5 February 10, 2009

These gloves are built to last a lifetime (almost). I used them for 7 days skiing. They are warm. My fingers did get cold on the lift when air temps (not wind chill) dropped down to -18F, but I don't think any glove would keep your fingers warm in those temps on the lift. No discomfort while skiing. They are expensive, but I think they'll outlast several $100 gloves. I wear out a lot of gloves.

DAKINE Heli Pack - 660cu in

DAKINE Heli Pack - 660cu in

Rating for this product: 5 January 9, 2008

Bought this for my snowboarder daughter and she loves it. Only drawback is that it will freeze on really cold days, but not as bad as CamelBaks.

Great Equipment!

Arc'teryx Sidewinder AR Jacket - Men's

Arc'teryx Sidewinder AR Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 22, 2007

Used my new Sidewinder AR in the Alps for a week in all conditions, and was perfectly comfortable all the time. Breathes great but seals out water. Large pit vents. The hood will go over a helmet, but it's kind of tight. The "radio pocket" is too small for most radios, but works great for a remote lift ticket.
