Marmot Halo 6-Person Tent

January 10, 2012

like the specs say, you will have approx 100+/- Sq.Ft. of "usable space". with this tent you also have the additional storage area in the vestibule area. i have spent time in one however i own mountain hardware and TNF tents. with this tent, it is cool how the poles actually push outward, giving even a bit more room. one thing i would have wanted would be more gear loops inside. hope this helps.

The North Face Himalayan Mitten

Rating for this product: 5 January 21, 2011

These are the real deal. A great product for a cold frigging winter this year! The 800-fill technology is just great and the waterproofing is awesome! Little pricey but definitely worth every cent!! TNF as usual!

Mountain Hardy

Mountain Hardwear Trango 3.1 Tent 3-Person 4-Season

Rating for this product: 4 January 21, 2011

This tent is made for the cold. Super insulated and huge for two people. Great gear loops and baskets for storing gear, and keeping things close for a 3am bathroom break. The only problem, and the reason its not quite perfect, are the stakes. I know M-H is trying to keep weight to a minimum but the steak "fitting" portion is very small and the tent loops can come undone if the tension loosens a bit. Otherwise a great addition to add to your arsenal!

Millet Radikal Speed Shoe - Men's

Millet Radikal Speed Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 20, 2010

Really Great Design! Vibram soles are very well balanced and hold the upper portion of the shoe in place. Little bit stiff out of the box but break in after about 10 hours. BOA lacing system works really well on steep climbs. Overall great shoe. Little Pricey but overall quality makes up for it.

the tadpole is a super fun, functional tent, keeping you super dry in even the hardest downpour! takes less than 3 min to set up and 2 more to pound in the stakes.

Black Diamond Hollowpoint Backpack - 1220cu in

Black Diamond Hollowpoint Backpack - 1220cu in

Rating for this product: 3 October 5, 2010

the overall shape and "sleekness" of this pack is great. the pockets are basic and easily accessible. would be an awesome pack if the straps were a little more heavy-duty and comfortable. not for an over-night or all-day trek. hope this helps!!

nice little cap! the Velcro strap in the back is really well stitched in. the med size runs a little small for an "average" sized head though. ran over it with the car and the brim came back!!!! overall solid!

Great Jacket so far! Just got a day in skiing with it and it is exceptionally wind and water proof. Colorado in 3 weeks, and Mt. Hood in February should put it too the test. Great NF tech as usual!! Highly recommend.

Good at the office on cold days, and good in the lodge after a day on the slopes. It washes well too, after Christmas dinner!
