Stomping Grounds:
25 yrs old, I live in Salt Lake City, Utah. Short drive away from the Cottonwood Canyons & the "Big 4" ski resorts. -
Bio:
SUMMER: I've always loved sports, especially outdoor sports. Nothing beats being up in the mountains. Utah is the perfect place to live if you love the outdoors, especially in Salt Lake City. I feel so lucky to call Salt Lake my home. Honestly, you can do it ALL here.
My favorite outdoor sports in summertime are bouldering, sport climbing, hiking, and camping. Little Cottonwood Canyon is no doubt one of the best spots in the country for bouldering & climbing, with literally 1000âs of boulders & routes scattered throughout the canyon. Most of them only have a 5 min approach (or less). When the temp down in the valley gets up into the 90âs & 100âs, I like to head up Big or Little Cottonwood canyon to escape the heat. Most of the bouldering and climbing areas are hidden in the trees, making it much cooler than down in the valley.
WINTER: Snowboarding! Have been snowboarding for 12 years as of this winter (08/09). Snowbird is my favorite resort, but I like Brighton & The Canyons too. Iâm lucky to live in Utah, where the snow is the best anywhere. Donât believe me? Check out our license plates!

Chaco Flip Sandal - Men's
May 15, 2009
Affirmative. Indeed they do, TP. The Chaco Flips are probably THE best flip flops I've ever worn, hands down. The soles seem to last forever thanks to the Vibram rubber soles. Vibram rubber = bombproof... the Flip Sandals are too!

Burton Hail Snowboard Boot - Men's
January 9, 2009
A softer flex boot would probably help, but first you should experiment w/ different binding stances. Mess around w/ your stance angles to see if that alleviates the pain or not. I'd bet that your stance is partly the cause of (and solution to) that pain in your lower leg.

Marmot Ama Dablam Down Jacket - Men's
January 8, 2009
The Ama Dablam and the Mountain Hardwear Sub-Zero Jacket are both great 650 fill down jackets. The Sub Zero is a bit puffier and doesn't have a hood like the Ama Dablam does. You'd have to get the Sub Zero SL Hooded Down Jacket (MHW0016) to get the hood. So if you'll be wearing a Gore Tex shell over it, you should decide on the puffier Sub Zero w/o a hood, or the less puffy Ama Dablam WITH a hood.

Icebreaker BodyFit150 Boxer w/Fly Brief - Men's
December 29, 2008
According to the Icebreakers sizing chart, you'd be between a L and an XL. The L shows a 35.5" waist, while the XL shows a 37.5" waist. The Icebreaker website recommends "...when your body measurements are midway between two sizes, go to the smaller size for a tighter fit or the larger size for a looser fit." If you're a 36" waist, you should probably go w/ a Large.

The North Face Triumph Anorak - Men's
April 16, 2008
Backcountry.com doesn't carry the grey/smoke color unfortunately. These 2 colors (Red & Black) are the only two they have this year.
