I bought these for my 14 year old daughter for Christmas! I am hoping these will be sufficient for snowmobiling. A salesperson at REI suggested these for the snow, but they don't carry the black ones, so I ordered through Backcountry! I ordered these a size smaller (8), as the reviewers below say these run big. My daughter is an 8 1/2- 9. Don't be fooled by the reviews below saying to order a size smaller! Unfortunately, I listened to what people were saying, and had to return the 8's and order the NORMAL size 9. The 8's were too short. I am pleased with BackCountry's return policy, it was very easy, and they provided a UPS label, just like that. It did cost me $6.99 to ship these back to them, but didn't cost me to ship the orders to me. So I'm out $6.99, not a huge deal. My daughter likes the look of these, now let's see if they do the job of keeping her feet warm and dry!!
